Ocasio-Cortez lies about food stamps

She said that her family might have starved if the Trump administrations revised standards for food stamps were in place when she was young.

She says that her family needed food stamps after her father died.

The problem of course is that the new regulations are only for single able bodied adults without children so they wouldn't have impacted her family at all.

The fact that her family relied on food stamps when her dad died is interesting too.  No wonder that she's such a big fan of taking other people's money; that's how she was raised.

I don't know the circumstances of her family but there are many women who lose their husbands, or whose husbands abandon them, who work to support their kids and don't take handouts.

Now in some cases handouts are the right thing for a limited time.  But we don't know whether there were extenuating circumstances that kept her mom from supporting herself and her kids or if AOC grew up in a family that thought it was owed other people's money.

One last thing; Adam Schiff repeated the same lie saying that the new rule would hurt children.

Apparently for Democrat politicians today the truth is whatever will help them get reelected.
