Now this in no way disqualifies him from being president but what's interesting is that none of the #FakeNews media outlets--CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, PBS,NBC, NYT, and WaPo-- mentioned it.
Deborah Norville reported on her Inside Edition show, distributed by CBS, that it was no big deal; while it might be a sign of high blood pressure it didn't merit a trip to the doctors.
But given that Biden's health is an issue both because of his age and because of his apparent confusion it would seem that at least mentioning it would be an example of responsible journalism.
After all we can all be fairly sure that if the same thing had happened to Trump the same media outlets would have been calling on him to step down or for someone to invoke the 25th Amendment.
While this incident isn't a big deal the lack of coverage by the #FakeNews media is a big deal. Think about it if they're going to cover up something this trivial can we have any confidence that they won't cover up other things that are significant? If Biden just started mumbling nonsense in an interview with a reporter would the reporter mention it or just hide it from us?
While the #FakeNews media say that it's Trump that's the threat to the press the real threat is media dishonesty. If we the people know that the #FakeNews media are willing to lie to us we can never be sure if a given report is truthful or not. That's bad for everyone. For example if Trump would do something wrong--say shoot someone-- tens of millions of Americans wouldn't believe it simply because they know that the #FakeNews media would gladly tell any lie if it would help get rid of Trump.
