Judicial bias; Rand Paul attacker's edition

A left wing lunatic tackled Senator Rand Paul from behind breaking several of his ribs and forcing doctors to remove part of the Senator's lung.  Paul also suffered multiple bouts of pneumonia as a result of the unprovoked attack--the attacker tackled him from behind with no warning.

One would think that this sort of what was probably a politically motivated attack on a US Senator would result in a serious penalty.  One would normally be right since the legal guidelines calls for 21 to 27 months in prison.

But Senior district judge Marianne O. Battani sentenced the attacker, Rene Boucher, to 30 days in prison.

If the same thing had happened to a Democrat Senator we'd never have heard the end of it. But instead the #FakeNews media tried to minimize and excuse the attack and was largely silent about the absurdly tiny penalty.

This coupled with Democrats endorsement of Antifa violence and Democrats support for restaurants refusing to serve Republicans is strong evidence that modern Democrats are more fascists than supporters of the democratic process.

The good news is that the government appealed the sentence and the Sixth Circuit court vacated the 30 day sentence and told Judge Battani to get it right.
