Left's hate laws against gays are coming down

The left hates gays so much that they've passed laws all around the country preventing men who suffer from same sex attraction to talk to a doctor about fixing their problem.

The laws don't just ban the supposedly cruel techniques that are supposedly used; they ban just talking to a doctor as one would if one wanted to overcome one's fear of flying on a plane.

But a Jewish psychotherapist, Dr Dovid Schwartz, sued because he correctly stated that a law that said he couldn't talk to a patient who wanted to talk to him is a violation of his 1st Amendment right to free speech.

What's really disgusting is that the law would allow Schwartz to help a man become a woman or help a gay man who is wavering to stay gay.  The law only bans trying to help someone who wants to be helped to get rid of their unwanted same sex attraction or who is confused about their sex and who wants to conform to their biological sex.

This is the definition of a viewpoint based ban on speech which the Supreme Court has ruled over and over to be unconstitutional.

In order to avoid the Supreme Court setting a precedent the LGBTQ forces in New York have called for the repeal of the law in question.

Here's what NYC Council Speaker Corey Johnson(D) said:

“This was a painful decision that was made after leading LGBTQ advocates requested that the Council take this drastic step.”

He added: “The sad reality is the courts have changed considerably over the last few years, and we cannot count on them to rule in favor of much-needed protections for the LGBTQ community.”

This is an amazing admission. Essentially Johnson is saying that since the courts are less likely to make up laws in order to provide special privileges for gays we need to withdraw laws that are clearly unconstitutional.  He shows no concern over the fact that the law is a clear and unambiguous violation of the Constitution or that it is an attack on the freedom of people in the LGBTQ community.

After all the law doesn't ban people kidnaping gays and torturing them; it bans gays who want to from talking to doctors who think they can help them.  Essentially the law says that if you're in the LGBTQ community no matter how unhappy you are you can't leave.  Now that's cruel and unusual punishment.

As usual when Democrats talk about a right to choose they really mean a right to choose what Democrats say is best for you.

Clearly Democrats hate gays who say that they don't like their condition and Democrats are willing to do anything to deny those gays the right to choose.
