A fairness test for the #FakeNews media: will they mention Jasiel Correia?

The Democrat mayor, Jasiel Correia, of Fall River Massachusetts has been arrested for allegedly taking huge bribes from marijuana stores.

This isn't Correia's first run in with the law.  He was also charged with defrauding investors and filing false tax returns back in 2018.  He allegedly took $360k from investors to build an app but used $230k of it to buy a Mercedes, jewelry, and designer clothes.

Irrespective of whether or not he's guilty we all know that if a Republican mayor was arrested this way the #FakeNews media would be all over the story just like they were all over the story that a Republican Senator from Alaska was charged with accepting illegal donations.

Interestingly when a Democrat Senator, Menendez, was on trial for corruption, just like the Republican Senator, the #FakeNews media said nearly nothing about it.

This is part of a long standing pattern. If a politician who is in trouble is a Democrat reports will never mention their party or sometimes even say that they're a Republican.  If it's a Republican who is in trouble the media will demand, before the case goes to trial, that every Republican condemn him.

The reality is that the only reason that Democrats win elections is that a large segment of the American population gets their news from the #FakeNews media which lie about Democrat positions, like the Democrat's support for post birth abortion, and coverup crimes committed by Democrats while lying about things Republicans do, like saying that Trump said that all illegal immigrants were animals when it was clear that Trump was only talking about MS-13 gang members.
