The paradox the Democrats are trying to sell you: The House did their job but they need more evidence

In her comments to the Senate House Democrat Zoe Lofgren said that the House had done their job yet she also said that more evidence is needed.

But those two statements are contradictory.  If the House made a strong case that Trump had done something criminal then there would be no need for new evidence.

We know for a fact that the House choose, wasn't forced to but chose, to not try and get the documents and witness testimony that they now say are essential to their case.

The House refused to use the Courts to resolve whether or not Trump's claims of executive privilege--the right of the President to protect internal Administration discussions so as to ensure that his advisors can speak candidly--, a right invoked by pretty much every President including Obama, were valid or not.

Odds are they did so because they knew that they'd lose and they didn't what the Supreme Court on record saying that their claims were unconstitutional.

Instead the Democrats are now saying that the Courts have no role in determining what the law says.

What they seem to be missing is that even if the Senate calls the witnesses the Democrats are asking for Trump can still go to Court to stop it.  The House and Senate, the Supreme Court, and the Presidency are three co-equal branches of government.  The Senate can't simply demand that the President's rights be ignored unless the Supreme Court rules that the Senate demands are Constitutional.

Or perhaps the Democrats realize this and their only objective is to use impeachment as a political tool since they are completely lacking in any ideas that the American people find appealing.

We saw this in the Kavanaugh hearings; "witnesses" who had no credibility and who lied to the Senate, one said she was afraid to fly to DC but it turned out she regularly flew to places like Tahiti, were treated as reliable by the Democrats and the #FakeNews medial.

It's time for us all to start shouting from the rooftops that the Democrats are liars.

Adam Schiff has lied repeatedly about what Trump said in the Ukraine phone call, he lied about how the FBI got the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, and he lied about not being in contact with the "whistleblower".

But Nadler and all of the rest of the rogues gallery of Democrats are lying too.

This is just one more example of how the only thing that matters to Democrat politicians is getting more power. They don't care about us, that's why they want to increase taxes and return us to the high unemployment of the Obama administration, they believe that they're better than us and that they have the right and obligation to run our lives down to what sort of straws we use.
