But if a man thinks he's a woman Joe Biden tells us we should pretend he is a woman.
Science is clear. A person's sex is determined by the person's DNA, that's true even in very rare mutations, and that a person can't change their sex without changing their DNA. To dispute that is on par with arguing that the sun orbits the earth.
Therefore Joe's belief that hard working Americans should pay for plastic surgery to let a man present he's a woman is actually a policy that will hurt people suffering from gender confusion.
It's sad but unsurprising that the rate of attempted suicide among the so called transgendered is around 40%; people like Biden lie to them that their problems will all go away if they just "become" a woman. But they do that, they take the drugs and have the surgery, and the underlying problems don't go away at all. Hence despair and suicidal thoughts result.
But Joe doesn't care about the impact of his policies on the transgendered he only cares about the fact that if he says he's all for pretending that men can become women he'll get votes and money from the radical left.
The pain and suffering of the transgendered are irrelevant to him.
If you know someone suffering from gender confusion you should work hard to convince them that they're a wonderful person just the way they are. They don't need to take drugs or mutilate their body in order to be a great person.
What's interesting is that the left knows that that's the right approach because it's the one they take with people who feel that a limb, an arm or a leg, isn't really supposed to be part of their body and they ask doctors to amputate it.
In any case it's clear that plastic surgery for the "transgendered" isn't critical or life saving. After all many "transgendered" people go long periods before having the surgery so it's not like say a heart transplant.
It's time to stop letting Democrats like Joe Biden exploit the suffering "transgendered" to get votes.
