Remember that quote where the Pope said "Who am I to judge?"? He wasn't talking about homosexual activity he was talking about one priest who had sinned decades ago, repented, and had lived a chaste life since. Further the Pope was talking about judging a person's soul not the objectively immoral nature of their activities. Only God can judge our souls but men can judge if an action is objectively wrong.
The #FakeNews media said that Pope Francis declared that rejecting immigrants an act of war but that's not what he said. He was talking about the Rohingja who have been driven out of their home which was the offense he was talking about. Further they are refugees who are fleeing for their lives not just immigrants seeking better jobs.
The bit about the Pope saying that Trump wasn't a Christian because he wanted a wall is a complete distortion of what the Pope said. A reporter mischaracterized Trump's position in a question the Pope who said that he wasn't familiar with Trump's position. What the Pope said is that if Trump were only for building walls and not for building bridges--which would mean that Trump opposed letting refugees in which isn't the case--then they would not be Christian. But then the Pope said this:
"We must see if he said things in that way and in this I give the benefit of the doubt."
So clearly the Pope wasn't saying that Trump wasn't Christian because he, the Pope, said he didn't know what Trump's position was. The #FakeNews media acted as though Trump opposed all immigration, even for real refugee's who are fleeing death, in order to distort the Pope comment.
Not surprisingly contrary to the #FakeNews media reports the Pope does believe in Hell. The fact that the only evidence to the contrary is from a 93 year old Italian reporter who doesn't take notes and that the Vatican has said that the reporter is wrong didn't keep the #FakeNews media from running with the story.
Here's some quotes that show what the Pope has really said about Hell:
"Yet the danger always remains that by a constant refusal to open the doors of their hearts to Christ who knocks on them... the poor, the proud, rich and powerful will end up condemning themselves and plunging into the eternal abyss of solitude which is Hell."
"[Referring to members of the Mafia]There is still time not to end up in hell, which awaits you if you continue on this road."
"[Referring to members of the Mafia]There is still time not to end up in hell, which awaits you if you continue on this road."
And the pope said this to a group of children in response to the question "If God forgives everybody, why does hell exist?":
"This is hell: It is telling God, 'You take care of yourself because I'll take care of myself.' They don't send you to hell, you go there because you choose to be there. Hell is wanting to be distant from God because I do not want God's love. This is hell. Do you understand?"
If the #FakeNews media have a darn about the truth they could have found out what the Pope really meant rather than rely on the previously proven to be imperfect memory of a 93 year old.
More recently the #FakeNews media has made a hubbub about the Pope saying that multiple religions are God's will. To understand what the Pope was really saying one needs to understand how Catholics view God's will. God has two wills; His perfect will which is what we'd all do if we wanted to be perfectly happy, and His permissive will which is what He allows us to do because He's given us free will to choose to sin.
Clearly having multiple religions is not part of His Perfect will because there is only one truth and the truth shall set you free. Hence only one religion can be completely true.
But because God has given us free will our founding multiple incorrect religions is part of His permissive will. But then so to is every sin we all commit. So the Pope is right that multiple religions are part of God's permissive will but that doesn't mean that the Pope is saying that God is happy with there being multiple religions any more than the fact that God's permissive will included the Holocaust means He's happy with the Holocaust.
Neither multiple religions or the Holocaust are part of God's perfect will.
Once again the #FakeNews media could have found that out but they'd rather reimage the Pope to use to advance their agenda.
While those are some of the lies of commission about the Pope that the #FakeNews media has spread there are also many lies of omission--where the media doesn't report on things the Pope says that they don't like.
Among the things the Pope has said that the media hasn't covered is that one can't be green and support abortion:
"Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?"
"Also, valuing one’s own body in its femininity or masculinity is necessary if I am going to be able to recognize myself in an encounter with someone who is different."
Due to lack of coverage you've probably never heard that the Pope condemns welfare as a long term solution to poverty:
"Helping the poor financially must always be a provisional solution in the face of pressing needs. The broader objective should always be to allow them a dignified life through work."
Similarly you've probably never heard that the Pope condemns the antiscientific belief in transgenderism:
Did you know that the Pope has said that Catholic politicians who support abortion or euthanasia should not receive Communion?
"[People] cannot receive Holy Communion and at the same time act with deeds or words against the commandments, particularly when abortion, euthanasia, and other grave crimes against life and family are encouraged. This responsibility weighs particularly over legislators, heads of governments, and health professionals.
These are the guidelines we need for this time in history[.]"

The Pope also has said:
The Pope has also clearly condemned the redefinition of marriage:
"[Referring to a bill to redefine marriage] Let us not be naive: this is not simply a political struggle, but it is an attempt to destroy God's plan. It is not just a bill (a mere instrument) but a 'move' of the father of lies who seeks to confuse and deceive the children of God."
