NYT says FBI opened partisan inquiry into Trump

The New York Times is reporting that the FBI opened an investigation into Trump to see if he was "...working on behalf of Russia against American interests."

This is another Big Lie in that there was no evidence of Trump working for Russia, rather the rationale used by the FBI was that Trump had fired Comey.

First Democrats had been calling for the firing of Comey so if firing Comey is a sign that one is working for Russia then the Democrats are working for Russia too. But of course the FBI didn't investigate that.

The two points related to the Comey firing which the FBI used to pretend that there was some basis for their politically motivated investigation were:

1) That in the letter in which he fired Comey Trump said thanked Comey for saying that Trump wasn't a subject of the FBI's Russia investigation.

2) In an interview with NBC Trump said that Comey's firing was related to the Russia investigation.

Note that neither of these in any way shape or form show Trump doing anything to help Russia.  They do show however Trump hurting the FBI so it's pretty clear that the investigation into Trump working for Russia was simply the weaponization of the FBI to avenge the firing of the FBI director.

Both Trump actions were in response to #FakeNews media reports which said that Trump was lying when he said that Comey had told him that he wasn't the subject of the Russia investigation.  Yet we now know that Comey had in fact told Trump that.  But Comey refused to say that publicly since Comey was waging a war against the President in an attempt to nullify the 2016 election.

So of course Trump would trumpet that in fact Comey had told him, Trump, that he wasn't a subject of the investigation for purely political reasons.  There was no need for Trump to be colluding with Russia for him to want the public to know that the #FakeNews media were lying about him.

Hence to say that either of these events justify investigating a sitting president for treason is absurd on the face of it.  It's obvious that the politically biased leadership at the FBI--including people we now know were virulently opposed to Trump--used the Comey firing as a pretext to start a fishing expedition against the President in an attempt to smear him.

The lack of any concept of honesty by the NYT can be seen when we look at how Trump has actually treated Russia.  Unlike Obama who deferred to Russia and Hillary who "reset" our relationship with Russia even though Russia continued to occupy parts of the nation of Georgia Trump has consistently acted in ways that hurt Russia.

When the Russian backed Syrian government used chemical weapons against its own people Obama did nothing; Trump bombed a Syrian government airfield.

Trump has gotten NATO countries to increase their defense spending; something that Obama didn't do.

Trump convinced Germany to end a natural gas deal with Russia which would have made 100s of billions of dollars for Russia.

Trump has allowed the Ukraine access to lethal weaponry to fight the Russian invasion something that Obama refused to do.

While it's true that Trump has called for trying to establish a peaceful relationship with Russia that's something that the NYT has called for for decades so it's hardly evidence of treason; after all actions speak louder than words.

What's interesting is that we have clear evidence that Hillary conspired with Russia after Bill received huge speaker's fees and the Clinton "charity" received massive donations from Russian related sources Hillary approved the sale of 20% of America's Uranium reserves to a Russian entity.

Similarly Hillary paid anonymous Russian sources for dirt on Trump yet the NYT sees no collusion on the left.

While the NYT doesn't call this newly revealed FBI smear campaign "partisan" the information in their article clearly shows that it was nothing but a partisan attempt to nullify the 2016 election executed by dishonest FBI agents at the highest level.

The article is clear proof that there needs to be a massive purge at the FBI.
