Like all propagandists since Hitler the #FakeNews media love the Big lie; a lie so huge in proportions that no decent person would ever doubt it. The reality is that while almost all of us are willing to tell little lies, yes dear that dinner was great, we aren't willing to tell big ones, yes officer I saw my neighbor kill his dog and eat it. Hence when someone else tells a big lie we tend to assume they're telling the truth because we can't imagine that someone could be evil enough to tell a big lie.
The latest jihad by the #FakeNews media is designed to convince us of the Big Lie that it's Republicans who are being uncivil in today's America.
Given the shenanigans that the Democrats have been up to it's going to be an uphill slog even for the ethics free souls of the denizens of #FakeNews bubble.
The American public in general was rather appalled by the bizarre and totally uncivil Democrat campaign against Kavanaugh. Because Americans aren't stupid, a fact that bodes ill for Democrats, they were a bit shocked that Democrats attacked Trump's Supreme Court nominee even before they knew who it was. Similarly accusing a clearly respectable man of managing a gang rape business on the side while he was in high school just doesn't come across as being either honest or in keeping with our American traditions of assuming someone is innocent until proven guilty, or at least until there's evidence he's guilty.
But the #FakeNews media did it's best by glowing repeating the Democrat charge that because Kavanaugh was upset that Democrats accused him of gang rape with absolutely no evidence he was unfit to be on the Supreme Court. The #FakeNews media also endorsed the Democrats claim that even though only Democrats lied about Kavanaugh it was partisan of Kavanaugh to only refute Democrat lies. Interestingly the media wasn't too upset when Justice Ginsburg attacked Donald Trump prior to the election; apparently the word partisan, like so many other words these days, has entirely different meanings depending upon which party they're being used against.
With Hillary, Holder, Maxine Waters, and Corey Booker leading the charge to get Democrats to be uncivil and use violence against Republicans the #FakeNews media has its job cut out for it. It must convince the people that peaceful Republicans are violent and uncivil while violent and uncivil Democrats, like Antifa, are peaceful. It's 1984, the book, coming to a "news" outlet near you.
The #FakeNews media is telling us that groups of people who harass Republicans in restaurants aren't mobs. That those people are just exercising their First Amendment rights. You know like the Democrats in the South who exercised their First Amendment rights to drive Black people out of whites only establishments like public schools.
Color me biased but I seriously doubt that if a bunch of white folk started harassing Maxine while she was eating her first words wouldn't be "While I disagree with them I will support to my death their First Amendment right to drive me out of public places".
Similarly if it were Booker who was cornered in a Senate elevator and harangued by right wing women about his stand on Kavanaugh it's unlikely he'd have been totally cool with it as he demanded that Republican Flake should be when he was cornered and harassed.
But of course the piece de resistance of the evidence for the Democrats embrace of violence is that there has only been a bit of low key condemnation of the violent fascist anti-First Amendment tactics of Antifa by some Democrats. The reality is that most Democrats are perfectly comfortable with having their own black shirted storm troopers who are ready, willing, and eager to use violence against anyone who utters things that Democrats don't like to hear. In fact it's not hard to find Democrats who say that Antifa violence is ok because it's ok to physically attack the alt-right--and pf course the alt-right is whatever the Democrats want it to be, don't be shocked if it's stretched to include Lindsey Graham soon.
While the #FakeNews media love to either ignore or give minimal coverage to Democrat violence the folks over at Breitbart have a constantly growing list of examples, currently at 583 and counting, of Democrats who have used violence against their political foes.
Let's not forget that it was a Democrat who nearly murdered Republican Congressman Steve Scalise, a Democrat who seriously injured Republican Senator Rand Paul, and a Democrat who tried to murder Republican Congressional candidate Rudy Peters.
Ponder for a moment if you will what the media coverage would have been if a Ted Cruz supporter had nearly murdered Nancy Pelosi? Compare that to the coverage of these attacks on Republicans. The Scalise story coverage essentially ended after two days.
But Democrat incivility isn't limited to violence as we saw in the Kavanaugh hearings. Rather by calling Republicans names and making up outlandish accusations about them, Trump colluding with Russia anyone?, the Democrats have abandoned the common decency that is so characteristic of America.
After decades of calling Republican's Nazi's, and thereby minimizing the Holocaust, homophobes, racists, and a slew of other bigoted terms it seems a bit odd that Democrats are declaring that it's the Republicans who are uncivil. Well it would be odd if we thought that Democrats moral compass points anywhere other than to absolute power. Think about it; Republicans have long since stopped calling Democrats by accurate but potentially offensive terms like communists yet the Democrats have no problem calling Republicans inaccurate names.
Since name calling hasn't worked, the Democrats still don't have absolute power over we the people, they've upped their game by declaring that anyone who wasn't perfect from birth is a monster unfit to be in government. Well actually what they're saying is that anyone who disagrees with them who hasn't been perfect since birth is a monster. If you support them being accused of rape, Clinton, or murdering a woman, Kennedy, is not an impediment to ruling in America.
For example the #FakeNews media is now publishing hit pieces on Republicans based on the claims of their third grade teachers. Aside from the serious credibility problem that teacher has, is it just me or don't all the people who Democrats find to accuse Republicans seem a at least a bit sketch?, there's the issue of a teacher rating on her students for political gain; is that really being civil?.
The reality is simple; Democrats are now and have been for quite some time uncivil, dishonest, endorsers of the use of violence to achieve their objective of absolute power. Republicans have bent over backwards to be civil but because the Democrats overplayed their hand on Kavanaugh the formerly "spineless" Republicans are finally starting to realize that their Democrat colleagues aren't acting in good faith, think Senator Graham.
The sad reality however is that since many Americans get their news from the #FakeNews media you need to take action and tell your friends, neighbors, and co-workers the truth. Don't be confrontational just casually mention all the times Democrats have physically assaulted Republicans or casually ask if it is really in keeping with who we are for the media to attack Republicans based on what they did in third grade. Don't get into a fight; just drop some facts and tell folks where they can find sources they respect that your facts are true.
