No Virginia Elizabeth Warren isn't Native American

In a feeble attempt to justify her theft of native American identity to get a job Elizabeth Warren has released a DNA test which shows she has native American ancestry.

According to the test she's between 1/32 and 1/512 native American.

That however isn't what it takes to hop on the affirmative action bandwagon.

She needs to pretend that she's native American because native Americans, and pretty much all honest people, are shocked and appalled by her cultural appropriation which helped her get a very cushy job teaching at Harvard.  A job which presumably should have gone to a real native American; one who lived their life as a native American.

Imagine if you will what would happen if a white guy who was raised and lived as a white whose great great great grandmother was Black asked for, and received, special treatment because he was "Black".  Given that the purported purpose of affirmative action is to compensate for societal discrimination against minorities it's obviously absurd for someone who has lived as a white person their whole life to be given special privileges because in the distant past one of their ancestors was Black.

Elizabeth Warren has lived a white life with all of the trappings of "White Privilege" that leftists constantly complain about. No wait that's not right. The reality is that in the minds, actions, and words of the left "White Privilege" --like #MeToo-- doesn't apply to Democrat politicians or leftist activists.  However we should ignore the left's hypocrisy and state the obvious; other than being a way for Warren to game the system and cheat a real native American out of a job her supposed native American background had absolutely no negative impact on her life.

She didn't grow up on a reservation and no school or employer would have known she was native American so that she wouldn't have been discriminated against.

Another key problem is that there are some legal requirements to be identified as a native American which Warren hasn't passed.  One has to be recognized by some tribe as being a member of that tribe. No tribe has ever recognized Warren as belonging to their tribe and even if they did now they didn't when she was pretending to be native American in order to get a great job.

There are also questions about the DNA test itself. It was performed by a private lab which means that they probably knew whose DNA they were testing which in turn means that there was opportunity, and possibly motive, to distort the results.  Due to a lack of DNA data on native Americans the lab had to use DNA from Central Americans for comparison.  That means that it's possible that Warren is Mexican or Guatemalan not native American.

In addition DNA testing is far from precise, for example the test Warren took says that she has a native American ancestor between 6 and 10 generations ago, contrary to the definitive claims that the commercial services make.

All in all the DNA test doesn't show that Warren is native American in any meaningful manner; she hasn't lived as a native American, she didn't claim she was one until she was in her 30s, she's never been discriminated against because she was native American, she isn't affiliated with any native American tribe, and when it became a political problem her first response was to simply stop claiming it, something that didn't hurt her because she already had the coveted job at Harvard.

Warren is just a lily white leftist who has enjoyed all the benefits of "White Privilege" who also lied about her ethnicity in order to steal benefits which were intended for native Americans who had been treated poorly by the United States.

If she'd have pretended to be Black her crime would stand out more but as it is the left's support of her dishonesty tells us that their lust for power is what matters; that their "concern" for the rights of minorities is just a sham.
