Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren is less native American than most whites but she's pretending to be native American.
Democrat Rachel Dolezal is a white woman who was raised in a "white privilege" setting but who pretends to be Black.
What makes this truly astonishing is how the Democrat base is incensed about "cultural appropriation". In the bizarre minds of the Left a white person eating minority food, wearing minority clothes, or basically doing anything that isn't purely white, whatever the heck that is, is considered an attack on the minority group.
According to the left because whites are the dominant culture, and all along I thought the dominant culture was American which is why we had a Black president for 8 years, so that they have power over minorities, tell that to the white kids who are rejected by colleges in favor of Black kids with lower test scores, which, according to the left, means it's wrong for whites to like aspects of minority culture.
I'm so old that I remember when the idea that white people thought that Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, etc food was so good that they would gladly pay to eat it was considered a compliment. After all if a "dominant" culture person voluntarily chooses to eat minority fare he's saying that he likes it more than the "dominant" cultural food he could eat.
But while the left is obviously wrong about the idea of cultural appropriation-- they've apparently never heard the ancient adage, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"-- they seem to be completely comfortable with Democrats pretending to be minorities.
In some sense that isn't surprising given that Democrats are all about personal power and making money. Having set up the affirmative action racket which gives benefits to people who have never been discriminated against, like Obama's daughters, by punishing people who have never discriminated, the Asian American students rejected by Harvard, it's natural that the generally lily white Democrat leadership would want to benefit too.
This reveals that the Democrats didn't set up affirmative action because they actually care about minorities; if they did they'd never pretend to be a minority or condone someone like Warren who pretends to be a minority. The Democrats set up racist affirmative action programs simply to buy the votes of minorities.
Beto is trying to be Hispanic to lure Hispanic voters which is kinda racist because it implies that Hispanic voters are too stupid to know a poser when they see one; though in his defense he has every reason to believe that the #FakeNews media will do all they can to cover for him which means that Hispanics who are more concerned about life than politics might never find out that he's Irish to the core.
Warren had, until her disastrous DNA results yesterday, been distancing herself from her native American claims because to be honest the native American vote isn't critical to her presidential ambitions. After all pretending to be a minority got her a cushy job at Harvard which was the point of her claim so she was ready to declare "mission accomplished" and move on.
Poor Dolezal just wanted to make herself Black like men make themselves woman. Of course all she really accomplished was to make a compelling argument against the reality of transgenderism.
The key take away from these actions by Democrats is that at the core of the modern Democrat party philosophy are their belief that the law doesn't apply to them, that they don't really care about minorities, and that they are quite comfortable doing anything--from pretending to be a minority to using violence to silence speech they don't like--which will make their lives better.
After all by pretending to be a native American, a woman of color, Warren basically stole a job which was "reserved" for a woman of color from a real woman of color; unless of course one believes that there are no women of color who are as competent as the whiter than snow in Colorado Warren.
In the insane world of Democrat racial division there is nothing worse than a rich white person cheating a poor minority person; yet now the #FakeNews media and the Democrat party is defending just that.
By their own standards it doesn't get much more racist than that.
