By giving credence to the incredible stories told by the women who accused Kavanaugh the #FakeNews media let the loons who are physically attacking conservatives a basis for rationalizing their violence.
This is nothing new for the Democrats however. Back when the Democrat founded KKK was terrorizing Blacks they justified their actions based on the "science" that Blacks were somehow inferior to whites.
Similarly Antifa justifies it's rejection of the law because of the academic insanity endorsed by the #FakeNews media that words can be violence.
Any objective observer knew that the idea of someone who has lived a sterling life since he graduated from college having run gang rape parties in high school was absurd. People don't change that radically that often. But by treating Swetnick as credible, in spite of the fact that Swetnick was admitting to attending multiple gang rape parties without warning her sisters, the #FakeNews media provided "justification" to those on the left who felt that violence was justified.
Ramirez's story was so bogus that even the New York Times wouldn't publish it but when it was pointed out that the fact, reported by the NYT, that Ramirez had recently told classmates that she didn't know if Kavanaugh was had done anything wrong was being used to defend Kavanaugh the NYT removed that from their story.
Finally the #FakeNews media did everything they could to prop up the obviously false claims of Dr. Ford. From the beginning it was obvious that even the Democrats didn't believe her. If the Democrats had believed her they would have used her to attack Kavanaugh in the regular hearings.
Can you imagine anything more powerful than the first Democrat to question Kavanaugh asking him whether or not he'd tried to rape a girl in high school and then declaring that his victim had come forward? Kavanaugh would have had no idea what they were talking about and the whole tenor of the hearings would have changed. Yet the Democrats didn't do that. The most reasonable explanation is that they knew here charges wouldn't hold up for long under scrutiny.
The #FakeNews media studiously ignored the problems with Ford's story including the fact that the only thing she really remembered was that Kavanaugh was the perp. She couldn't remember when or where it happened even though she claimed it scared her for life. Every witness she claimed would support her story said it never happened.
The best proof of the mendacity of the #FakeNews media is that when it became clear that Dr. Ford was lying about being so afraid to fly that she couldn't testify earlier they acted as though that in no way discredited her testimony. But think about it; few people are willing to lie about something when they know their lie will be found out. Only someone very comfortable with lying will do that. Hence by lying to Congress about something that would be revealed to be a lie quickly Dr. Ford showed that she was a very dedicated liar.
Support for Kavanaugh would be sky high if the people were told the truth. But by creating an alternate reality the #FakeNews media provide a womb in which the insane fantasies of the left can go unchallenged by truth. This is very dangerous because we're seeing more and more violence from the left based on the alternate reality the #FakeNews media is peddling.
