Democrats hate landlords and think they're stupid

There are lots of empty stores in San Francisco even though the economy, thanks to Trump, is booming.

However the problem according to the Democrats who run the city and their allies the #FakeNews media isn't the human waste or the discarded needles on the streets, it's not the sky high rents, it's not the huge level of government interference, it's not the high taxes, it's not the massively growing crime problem; no it's that the owners of buildings are too stupid to realize that renting out their stores will make them money.

That's right landlords are deliberately not renting out empty stores because...because they're socialists who hate capitalism and hate making money?

So of course the solution is to pass new laws which will levy even bigger fines on landlords who don't rent out their empty units fast enough.

That in a nutshell is how modern Democrats think; if the government fines people who don't want to make money they'll decide that making money is good.

It seems that the idea that landlords are highly incentivized to make money which means that if they're not renting out units fast enough there is a good reason for it has never crossed the minds of the Democrats who run the city.

But then given that Democrats have no problem telling the people what types of shopping bags they can use or that the people can't use plastic straws are this latest bit of "logic" isn't all that surprising.

It does teach us that we should never give power to Democrats.
