There is no pattern of cops killing Blacks: George Floyd is an anomaly

We often think there is a police jihad against Blacks because the media will talk nonstop about every incident where a cop killed an innocent Black man and ignore all the cases were cops kill white men who aren't guilty of anything.

For example Dallas police killed Tony Timpa after pinning him to the ground for 13 minutes.  Tampa had actually called 911 because he had come off his medication for schizophrenia and depression and needed help.

But Tony was white so the officers who killed him weren't prosecuted and were back on the job a month later.

Did white people start rioting?

To be fair in the latest riots it appears to be white Antifa members who do much of the violence as well as egg on young black men to acts of violence as well.

But lots of Blacks honestly believe that the police target Blacks.  It turns out that's a Big Lie told by Democrats.

First thing we should note is that George Floyd was killed by a police officer from a police department in a very radical left wing city run by a very radical left wing Mayor.  Further that city, Minneapolis, is in a very left wing state run by a very left wing governor.  Finally the AG of that state is a virulently anti-semitic radical Black.

Yet somehow the #FakeNews media and the Democrats are acting as though Floyd was killed in Texas or Florida or in the White House and blaming Trump and Republicans.

If Floyd's death was due to systemic racism then Minnesota, which has been run by leftist Democrats for quite some time, is systemically racist which means that the leftist Mayor, the leftists Governor, and the leftist AG are to blame for at the least not fixing the problem.

But the reality is that there is no systemic racism vis a vis how police treat people.  More Blacks are arrested and in prison because while the vast majority of Blacks are honest a significantly higher proportion of Blacks compared to whites are dishonest.

How do we know this? Because victims tell us the race of the person, or persons, who attacked them. Leftists would immediately assume that for some bizarre reason white victims would want their attackers to get away and so say that their attackers were Black when they were in fact white.

The only problem is that the people who say their attackers are Black are Black themselves.  The sad reality is that it's Black people who are the primary victims of Black criminals.

Which is why rich white leftists are eager to put more Black criminals back on the street because it makes them, the rich white folk, feel good about themselves and there is little to no risk that they, the rich white folk, will be preyed on by the Black criminals they release and they, the rich white people, apparently don't care if Black people do suffer due to the release of Black criminals.

But even in the more limited area of police shooting people it turns out that Black people who have studied the phenomena have found that there is no racial bias in incidents where cops kill innocent people.

First note that there are around 700,000 cops in America and if killing innocent Blacks was a common thing the left wouldn't have to make up incidents.  For example the #FakeNews media and the Democrats told us that Michael Brown was murdered by a cop in Ferguson Missouri in 2014.

The only problem is that the physical evidence and witness testimony showed that Brown was attacking the police officer, who was physically much smaller, and that Brown was trying to grab the officers gun.

In the end the Obama DOJ led by Eric Holder declared that the officer's actions were perfectly legal and that he, the officer, had the right to protect himself.

But instead of fixating on this or that media firestorm what happens when people take a more holistic view of police brutality?

One study examined 2,669 police killings from 2013 and 2015 and concluded that:

“White officers are significantly less likely than black officers to kill black suspects, and they are not statistically significantly different from Hispanic, other race, and unknown race police officers,”

It's rather absurd to think that Black cops are systemically racist against Blacks.  While the source of the discrepancy is unclear it could be due to Black officers being more common in cites with high crime rates.

In 2016 Professor Roland G. Fryer Jr. and his team studied more than 1000 police shootings in 10 police departments in California, Texas, and Florida.

Professor Fryer is Black but his conclusion was:

"On the most extreme use of force—officer-involved shootings—we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account," he said. "It is the most surprising result of my career."

Another study done in 2018 by researchers from Michigan State and Arizona State universities concluded:

"When adjusting for crime, we find no systemic evidence of anti-Black disparities in fatal shootings, fatal shootings of unarmed citizens, or fatal shootings involving misidentification of harmless objects."

It turns out that the leading cause of death, after abortion, for young black men is murder, mostly by another young black man, while the leading cause of death for young white men is accidents.

More Blacks are shot by cops not because cops are targeting Blacks but because a much higher, but still small, percentage of Blacks are crooks than is the case with whites.

What is real is that the media and the Democrats are working non-stop to convince Black people that cops target them, that America--after electing Obama twice-- is systemically racist country.

Democrat politicians and #FakeNews media people are the real racists. Their message to Blacks is that Blacks can't succeed with out rich white leftist Democrats helping them.  That's why Biden could so casually say that Blacks who don't vote for him aren't really Black. 

In the minds of Democrats Blacks are not really up to managing their own lives and if they reject the help of "caring" Democrats like Biden they need to be taught a lesson and ejected from Black society.
