Planned Parenthood hates babies; Leana Wen edition

Former Planned Parenthood(PP) president Dr. Leana Wen is being denied her severance pay and her health care until she agrees to not talk about how PP prioritizes abortion over women's health.

The health care denial is especially cruel given that Dr. Wen is pregnant.  But then given that PP's purpose is abortion, especially aborting babies of color, it's not shocking that PP would be unconcerned about a pregnant woman's plight if the women is planning on killing her unborn child.

When she took over PP Dr. Wen wanted to expand PP's efforts to provide real health care for women without diminishing PP's massive abortion business.  But that wasn't good enough for PP's board; they wanted to be an abortion business that fought to keep abortion legal for any reason at any point during a pregnancy.

Remember that only 0.3% of women have an abortion because their life is at risk and only another 1.4% because of some less significant health concern.  With rape and incest being far less than 1% of abortions the reality is that roughly 98% of abortions are because the woman feels her unborn baby will reduce her quality of life.

That's why abortion isn't health care.

But PP fired Dr. Wen because she wanted to reorient PP further from abortion politics and closer to providing real health care to women.

When the New York Times says that:

“Last month,Planned Parenthood said it waswithdrawing from the federal program that provides services to poor women rather than comply with a new Trump administration rule which forbids referrals to doctors who can provide abortions.”

it's telling the truth; PP put attacking the Title X law and the ability of PP to use Title X money to drive women towards PP's abortion business ahead of actual women's health.

The good news is that there are thousands of women's health clinics which don't perform abortions which will be able to provide real health care to women using the money that PP has rejected.
