Did you know that climate alarmists are ok with China producing more CO2 than the US and the EU combined?

Up until around 2000 the US and the EU were the big drivers of global human generated CO2 but now China is producing more CO2 than the US and the EU combined:

What's interesting is that the Paris Accords allow China and India to continue to dramatically increase their CO2 emissions.

That proves that the climate alarmists who continually extol the Paris Accords really don't believe we're facing a crisis since if they did believe that they couldn't support allowing China and India to massively increase their CO2 production.

What's also interesting however is that even the alarmists agree that the fraction of CO2 that's from human activity is tiny.  They argue though that that tiny change is what's causing climate change.

Ignoring for the moment that there is no real evidence for climate change, as opposed to a slow warming because the Earth is exiting a minor ice age, the idea that a small change in CO2 levels would have a drastic impact on the Earth's temperature is unlikely.

Generally speaking everyone agrees that CO2 by itself isn't that major of a green house gas; what causes the significant temperature increases in most climate models is the assumption than increasing CO2 will significantly increase atmospheric water vapor levels and that the water, not the CO2, is the main driver behind warming.

Unfortunately for the alarmists, but fortunately for us, we're not seeing increased water vapor levels and we're also not seeing increased temperatures.
