The court ruling for CNN is not entirely bad

A court has ruled that the White House didn't use due process to eject CNN's Acosta from the press pool.

The court did not rule that Acosta is owed a place in the pool; something it couldn't do since that would mean that every reporter in America who wanted to be in the pool was entitled to be in the pool.

The problem can be fixed by the White House simply making a set of rules the violation of which will result in expulsion.  A short list of rules such as this would be sufficient:

1) Don't talk when another reporter has been called on
2) Turn over the microphone when it's another reporters turn
3) Don't use obscenities

Acosta violated 1 and 2 and he's always violating 1 so that with these simple rules Acosta would have  to be civil or face exile.

Nothing in these rules even has a hint of any sort of political bias so that there would be no grounds for Acosta to object.

One final note; isn't it amazing how when they're the ones in trouble Democrats always demand due process and rule of law but when a Republican is involved those concepts are derided by the left?
