Taxes: Politicians taking the money you earn and spending it the way they want

Every tax dollar you pay is one you earned.  When politicians raise taxes they're making you their serf.  You work;  they spend.

The Big Lie is that government spending is for the good of everyone and that it's like charity.

The reality is that the vast majority of what the governments spends does nothing to help taxpayers who fund the whole bloated enterprise.

The bloat is real. Not only do Federal government employees make a lot more money than do the taxpayers who fund them they have essentially perfect job security; people who were caught stealing or allowing people to die through incompetence in the VA don't lose their jobs.

Your hard earned dollars are filtered through that mass of unelected but well protected government workers and a little remains to actually address the countries real problems. For example the US spends around $20,000 a year for each poor person in America. That's $80K for a family of 4 when the poverty level for that family is around $25K.

Even the most die hard conservative would never dream of saying that poor families are in fact getting anything close to $80K a year.  The difference is what those government bureaucrats chew up.

No conservative wants to let Americans starve or freeze to death in the winter.  The Satan of all Satans, in the minds of leftists, Ronald Reagan wanted a safety net to avoid that.  No conservative objects to the mentally ill, the physically ill, the handicapped, or children being taken care of with taxpayer dollars.

The problem is that lots of people on welfare are bums and Democrats love that. 

Maine instituted a work requirement for single, able bodied, healthy, childless adults in order to get food stamps and 80% of the recipients dropped out of the program.  Clearly they weren't willing to work even though they could. Which makes them ideal Democrats.

Did you know that in the Green New Deal, endorsed by lots of Democrats, it says that people who could work but who don't want to work should get a nice life funded by hard working Americans?

Some people manage to find jobs that they love but the vast majority of Americans work because it pays the bills.  Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez want hard working Americans to work harder and keep less of what they earn so that bums can live comfortable lifestyles.

That's not charity. That's theft; and buying votes.

We need government to defend the country so the spending on the military, which is only about 16% of the total Federal Budget is good. We need the CDC.  NASA probably generates more money than it takes.  A new, honest, FBI is necessary to deal with interstate crime.  We need the intelligence community. We need the FDA.

We don't need a federal education department.  We don't need a whole spectrum of the government that exists only to tell Americans how they should live their lives.  We don't need NEA, NPR, or subsidizes for rich people's operas.

When Democrats want you to pay more taxes remember that politicians get rich while in DC even if they're not as openly corrupt as the Bidens.  They don't want your money because they're do gooder altruists but because they want to be able to use it to buy votes and coddle illegal immigrants.

Doubt that?  Last year in Democrat run California they passed a new tax on citizens which will be used to fund free health care for illegal immigrants.

Back in the 1950s tax dollars went for the essentials and even then politicians made money. But now most taxes go to buy votes, enrich politicians, and let politicians run your life.

Remember the golden rule; he whose got the gold makes the rules.  By taking your money and making it theirs Democrat politicians are getting the power to make the rules that run your life; what your religion can teach, what you can say in public, how much soda you can drink.
