AP sympathizes with Khamenei's suffering

In a rare display of emotion from the typically reserved and measured supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cried openly Monday at the funeral of slain Gen. Qassem Soleimani, his most important military commander with whom he shared a deep bond.

“Oh Allah, they are in need of your mercy, and you are exalted above punishing your servants,” Khamenei said in prayer as he stood over a flag-draped casket with the remains of Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Iraq on Friday.

Khamenei’s voice cracked under the weight of the moment during a funeral procession unlike any in Iran’s recent history.

That's the opening paragraph of an AP story about the funeral of terrorist leader Soleimani.

What's truly bizarre is that the AP believes that Khamenei a psychopathic mass murderer who supports beheading gays wasn't acting.  Khamenei has the blood of thousands on his hands for his support of terrorism to advance Iranian interests throughout the Middle East.

He calls for genocide against Jews and for death to America.

Yet the AP thinks it's credible that he really cared about Soleimani as a person rather than as a valuable military asset.  If Soleimani had threatened Khamenei's power it's quite likely that Soleimani would have been summarily executed instantly.

What's also interesting is that it's unlikely that anyone can imagine the AP writing words like the ones they used to describe Khamenei about any conservative who suffered the death of a loved one.

This article reveals who the AP really supports and hence is another reason why we can't trust anything they write.
