Democrats; making up the rules as they go

Democrat House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn is suggesting that the rules of the Democrat primary be changed and that if Biden wins all six states that were up for grabs yesterday then the primary season should be ended, Biden declared the nominee, and debates ended.

This of course makes a lot of sense given that Biden is clearly incapable of going off script for very long without making some sort of insane or troubling statement.

From talking about how kids like to touch his hairy legs Biden has escalated to shouting matches with union workers who don't like his desire to seize their guns.

Biden is making Trump look amazingly presidential and restrained which is something that most people thought was impossible.

Clearly managing to isolate Biden as much as possible and count on the #FakeNews media to effectively be his campaign is looking really good to Democrats right now.

Bernie isn't an option not because Democrats object to his policies but because they know that because Bernie actually says what he'll do, as opposed to lying like Obama did, there is no way he'll get elected.

Biden has always been known for being somewhat incoherent or being willing to say things that are very off message but clearly he's been getting worse.  While he's clearly not incapable of functioning is cognitive levels are dropping, as happens to many older people.  That's not horrible for the average retiree who can spend moments collecting their thoughts when necessary but the President will often have to make quick decisions, when deciding what to spontaneously say to foreign leaders for example, so we need a President whose mental agility is still good.

The interesting take away however is that Democrats are willing to do anything, including cheat Bernie and Tulsi, if they think it will get them more power.

It'll be interesting to see how the Bernie Brigade takes this.
