Coronavirus's GDP impact is 1/2 that of the Kyoto accords

Before the Paris Accords, back when it was still called global warming, the Kyoto accords were labeled as essential to staving off the death of humanity.

Estimates of the impact on Americans of those accords indicated that the GDP would drop by 21% if the US signed on and followed them.

That's three times worse than the impact of the coronavirus on the economy to date.

And unlike the coronavirus the impact of the Kyoto accords would go on forever.

Yet the leftists showed not one bit of concern for all the poor and lower middle class Americans who would suffer.

Remember that when the coronavirus craze dissipates and we get back to the left demanding that the Americans suffer while the same leftists allow China to increase CO2 production by leaps and bounds.
