Joe Biden wants your kids to die protecting "world order"

One of the many nice things about what Trump has done is to reinstate American foreign policy to what it was under JFK.

The US was forced to uphold world order because the Soviets were working hard to turn all of humanity into slaves and an isolated America wouldn't be able to beat the entire rest of the world in a war.

Hence the aggressive US foreign policy, so at odds with American's naturally isolationist desires, was in fact necessary to protect the US.

With the fall of the Soviet Union there is not currently an existential threat to the US; even Chinese hegemony over the South China Sea won't put America at risk.

But the Deep State and neo-cons are still stuck in the old mindset which says that American blood has to be spilled to right every injustice in the world.

Do we object to the way that totalitarian states like North Korea, China, and Venezuela treat their citizens?  Of course we do but the reality is that American blood and boots on the ground can't fix those problems.

Similarly while radical Islam is a serious but non-existential threat the solution is surgical strikes not invading Iran.

Trump gets that.  

Americans are willing to die to stop things that could lead to us being endangered, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany for example, or when we're attacked, 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, but endless preemptive wars haven't achieved their objectives even though they've cost America a lot of lives.

That's why it's particularly chilling to hear Joe Biden say:

"My fellow Americans, we have to once agin lead the world. Donald Trump’s “America First” policies made America alone. You know, in the fight against climate change, we have to rally the rest of the world to act, and act now. Rejoin the Paris Climate Accord on Day One. Make it clear to our allies that we’ll honor our commitments, that our word can be trusted.

[Applause]

And make clear to our adversaries that we will stand fast in restoring world order. That’s the American responsibility."

Americans don't want their children to die to preserve "world order".  Especially when the kids of Europeans aren't willing to let their kids die for that same cause.

As an aside note that Trump leaving the Paris Climate Accord, which does nothing to save the planet, isn't an example of the US not keeping its word. Obama didn't even submit the accord to the Senate for approval.

Trump overturning Obama's promise isn't the US going back on its word since the US, as a country, never in fact agreed to the accords.

Of course Democrats don't mind pulling the rug out from underneath a Republican President's promise.  The Democrats in Congress cut off military aid to South Vietnam after we'd promised them that we'd support them just as the Soviets were supporting the imperialistic North Vietnamese.

Further it's easy to see that the Paris Climate Accords are a big lie.  They allow China and India to massively increase their CO2 production.  If we're facing a crisis as Biden says there is no way that allowing the biggest CO2 producer in the world, China produces more CO2 than the EU and the US combined, to dramatically increase its CO2 production could make sense.

The reality is that Biden is using global warming...er climate change as an excuse to steal your money and your freedom.
