Coronavirus saves lives: Arkansas tornado edition

God works in mysterious ways.  A tornado ripped through a mall in Arkansas but because of the self quarantine the place was extremely empty.

When confronted with the folks who say that every natural disaster that God doesn't prevent is "proof" there is no God you man mention this to them.

The reality of course is that God has told us in Scripture that He only allows evil to draw out greater good.

So while God didn't create coronavirus He allowed it and He did so because He knows that in the end it will do more good than evil.

Millions of us are being reminded of our own mortality which will hopefully lead us away from pornography and the belief that the world is all that matters and back to a realization that how we live our lives and our relationship to God are what matter.

Perhaps we'll realize that being good is more important than just feeling good.

Act as though everything depends on you, pray as though everything depends on God.  That's good advice in these times.

Follow the rules that medical professionals have put in place but pray that we find a way to defeat the virus.

Oh one other possible plus to the virus.  I haven't confirmed it but I saw a report that the number of cases, and hence deaths, due to flu and pneumonia were down due to social distancing.
