Democrats using Coronavirus to buy votes

Some Democrats are calling for forgiveness of student loan debts, or at least $10K of it, as part of how we deal with COVID19.

This is absurd.  The purpose of any economic package is to stimulate the economy and to help Americans who are, through no fault of their own, in need.  But Democrats want to make it a big vote buying scheme.

Suspending payments and interest accumulation on some loans held by people who are out of work may make sense.

But Democrats want a lower middle class Black plumber in Chicago to subsidize the college education of someone who works at Google and makes >$200K a year.

Only 40% of Americans go to college and asking the other 60% to subsidize some rich white kids gender studies degree is down right wrong.
