Why would Jews vote for antisemitic Democrats?

When Democrat Ilhan Omar was caught saying blatantly antisemitic things the Democrats closed ranks to protect her and instead of condemning her they condemned Trump.

When Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib call for the destruction of Israel through their support of the BDS movement Democrats complain not about the destruction of Israel but the fact that Israel won't let people who call for the violent destruction of Israel into Israel.

Criticizing Israel isn't antisemitic but saying that Israel shouldn't exist or that anyone who supports Israel only does so because those rich Jews have bribed them is.

Further we know that Democrats oppose religious liberty so why would Jews vote for the party that wants to destroy Israel given that any destruction of Israel would result in the deaths of at least tens of thousands of Jews and the ethnic cleansing of Palestine?

Trump has started pointing this out.  He makes the obvious point that most Jews are ignorant of what the Democrats are up to because #FakeNews outlets hide or lie about the truth of just how radically antisemitic Democrats are.  But this isn't surprising or new.  Historically rich white eastern coast people have been antisemitic; before Harvard discriminated against Asians it discriminated against Jews.

The question is how do we get the truth to American Jews?  Trump's tweets will start the conversation.

Good Jews don't need to support Israel in all ways and they can certainly call for Israel to give up chunks of territory but it's hard to see how they can support the destruction of Israel given how many Jews would be killed if that happens. After all if you read Arabic language sources the Palestinian leadership often calls for exterminating Jews when they're not denying the Holocaust.
