Because of obscenely high housing prices caused by poor urban planning, rent control, and environmental overkill all caused by Democrat policies and California Democrat's call to all the homeless and illegals in America to come to California homelessness is booming in the "golden" state. By continually providing amazing benefits to the homeless and illegals the Democrats in California are practically begging those groups to come to California.
Along with homelessness and the apparent inability of Democrats to make sure trash is collected Democrat run cities in California are seeing a huge rat problem. That in turn is leading to Californians getting diseases like typhus just like people in rat infested third world cities do.
Of course the obvious answer is to enact policies that will kill rats given that Democrats in California, and Baltimore, can't seem to figure out how to keep the streets from being full of trash, feces, and used hypodermic needles.
Which means that the Democrats in California are now looking to outlaw high quality rat poison.
Yes that's right in the face of a surge of rats the Democrats in California aren't improving trash pickup or stopping asking the homeless to come to California. Instead the Democrats are working to make it harder to kill rats.
If modern Democrats had run the US during WWII they would have banned the manufacturing of tanks and jeeps.
