How to convince your friends that the #FakeNews media is dishonest

Donald Trump Jr. had a meeting with a Russian who said she had dirt on Hillary.

During the meeting it became clear that the Russian had no dirt on Hillary but wanted to convince Trump to end certain sanctions against Russians.

Trump Jr. walked out of the meeting.

The #FakeNews media and the Democrats have been saying for nearly 2 years that this is criminal collusion even though Trump Jr. gave the Russian nothing and the Russian gave Trump Jr. nothing.

According to the left the mere fact that Trump Jr. sought dirt on Hillary from Russia is criminal.

Based on that reasoning the #FakeNews media has been attacking Trump.

Yet we know for a fact that Hillary Clinton paid anonymous Russians, who may have been working for Putin, cold hard cash for dirt on Trump and that she used those unverified, anonymously sourced, rumors against Trump during and after the election.

It is an established fact that Hillary's lawyers paid Fusion GPS who paid British ex-spy Steele to get dirt on Trump from anonymous Russian sources.  Even the #FakeNews were forced to report that.

Yet despite condemning Trump Jr. for merely meeting with a Russian the #FakeNews media has not complained about Hillary actually paying Russians for dirt on Trump.

We know that the Steele dossier is bogus not just because Steele himself in a sworn statement to a court in England said that the contents are unverified but because there are blatant factual errors in it. For example a key bit of dirt what that Michael Cohen flew to Prague to meet Russians.  Turns out that Cohen's passport shows he has never been to Prague and Mueller found no indication to the contrary.  Another part of the dossier talks about about people being in a Russian embassy in a city that doesn't have a Russian embassy.

To summarize:

1) Trump Jr. meets with a Russian looking for dirt on Hillary; no dirt or cash exchanged

2) Hillary pays anonymous Russians for fake dirt on Trump and uses it during the campaign

3) The #FakeNews media condemns Trump and says nothing about Hillary.

That should start honest people who currently trust the #FakeNews media questioning just if their trust is misplaced.
