Comey lies about FBI options

Dishonest James Comey is now saying that based on the information they had at the time spying on the Trump campaign was justified.

Of course Mueller has looked at that same evidence and found no signs of collusion.

But even worse we know how the FBI has acted in similar cases.

When the FBI suspected someone associated with the McCain campaign of ties to Russia they informed McCain who took care of the problem.

By spying on Trump but not telling him about the problem Comey ensured that whatever evil the Russians were up to wouldn't be thwarted.  That makes no sense unless of course Comey's objective was to "get" Trump not to protect the American election.
