When I was growing up Hispanics were White

When I was growing up in the 1960s and 1970s everyone I knew thought of Hispanics as being just like Italians; ethnically unique white people.

The creation of the idea that Hispanics weren't white was part of the Democrats efforts to divide and balkanize America in order to make it easier to rule over us.

The Claremont Review of Books has an article that explains the details of how Hispanics were convinced they were different here.  The article is free for a limited time as part of an effort to get people to subscribe to the Claremont Review of Books.

What's interesting is how the left which is always saying it's all about tolerance and diversity is in fact  pushing to break up Americans rather than unify us.
