What Adam Schiff left on the cutting room floor

Schiff's secret hearings were auditions.  They were held in secret so that Democrats could find out what people would say and pick the ones who would help Democrats as the ones who would testify in the public hearings.

For example Catherine Croft, State Department special adviser for Ukraine negotiations, wasn't called to testify in public because in the Star Chambering hearings she testified that Trump had expressed anger at corruption in Ukraine 18 months before the infamous phone call with Zelensky.

"Croft: The President was skeptical of providing weapons to Ukraine.

Q: Why?

Croft: When this was discussed, including in front of the Ukrainian delegation, in fnont of President Poroshenko, he described his concerns being that Ukraine was corrupt, that it was capable of being a very rich country, and that the United States shouldn’t pay for it, but instead, we should be providing aid through loans."
That undercuts the Democrat lie that Trump's concerns about corruption are lies being used to cover up his real motives.
