Pelosi declares that investigating Democrat corruption is bad for America; a crime in fact

The Democrats have declared that they will issue an article of impeachment against Trump based on his asking Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden's obvious corruption.  That is they're saying that daring to investigate a corrupt Democrat politician is bad for America and in fact a crime.

The Democrats say that Trump has abused his power because he:

"exercised the powers of his office for his personal benefit while ignoring or injuring the public interest."

Given that the issue that the Democrats have been advancing is that it was wrong of Trump to ask Ukraine to investigate Biden that means that the Democrats are saying that Trump "injured" the public interest by looking into corruption by a Democrat.

Keep in mind we know beyond all reasonable doubt that Joe Biden is corrupt:

• Obama made Joe Biden point man for US Ukraine foreign policy
• Hunter Biden has stated that the primary reason he was paid $3.1 million by the corrupt Ukraine company Burisma was because his dad was Joe Biden
• A Ukrainian prosecutor started to investigate Burisma
• Joe Biden has stated on camera that he told the Ukrainians that unless they fired that prosecutor they wouldn't get $1B in US aid; he gave them 6 hours to fire the guy
• Ukraine fired the prosecutor
• Ukraine dropped the investigation into Burisma
• The one and only prosecutor that Joe Biden personally ensured was fired was the one and only prosecutor in Biden's 8 years of being VP who was investigating Burisma.

In summary Joe Biden's family received $3.1 million from Burisma and Joe Biden's actions resulted in the dropping of a Ukraine investigation into Burisma.

Democrats want you to believe that that was just a coincidence but the odds of the one and only prosecutor who Joe Biden personally ensured was fired just happening to be investigating the company that paid the Bidens $3.1 million is amazingly small.

More importantly we all know that if in the story of Biden's corruption we replaced Joe Biden with Donald Trump and Hunter Biden with Trump Jr the very same people who are telling us that there's nothing wrong with Biden's actions would be demanding that the Trumps be arrested.

The obvious question then is how can Trump asking Ukraine to investigate the obvious corruption of the Biden family "injure" the interests of we the people?  The opposite is true; we the people are injured when government officials get away with corruption.

What the Democrats are doing is nothing less than declaring that Democrats are so above the law that it's a crime to even investigate them.  They're also basically saying that they know Biden is guilty since if he's not any Ukraine investigation would clear him so if they thought Biden was innocent they'd be ok with Ukraine clearing him.

Also the Democrats are saying that a President investigating the corruption of a senior government official is doing so for himself. But isn't a President whose working to ensure that politicians aren't corrupt actually working for we the people? Apparently not in the minds of Democrats; assuming of course it's a Democrat who is corrupt.  Corrupt Republicans are fair game.
