Phone records then and now: Democrats oppose collecting metadata on terrorists but support collecting metadata on Republicans

During the war on terror the Intelligence Community(IC) was collecting phone metadata from people who were talking to terrorists.

The Democrats and the #FakeNews media condemned that.

But now the Democrats and #FakeNews media are fine not only with collecting phone metadata on reporters who aren't in the #FakeNews media but also with spying on Republicans.

Clearly Democrats view conservatives as the enemy while they aren't really concerned about terrorists.

Now that's "injuring" the public interest.
