Things you probably won't find in Michelle Obama's autobiography

There is no way I'm going to buy or read Michelle Obama's new autobiography but here are few things that I'm pretty sure didn't make the final edit.

In 2011 Michelle said:

"The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more."

In 2019 Michelle bought a $14 million dollar house.  

Apparently she's not the someone who has to give up a piece of their pie; you are though.

In 2008 Michelle said:

"For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback,"

Michelle was born in 1964 so the following things occurred after she was 20:

1) The US forced the collapse of the Soviet Union which liberated millions

2) The US liberated Kuwait after it had been conquered

3) The Space Shuttle made history

4) The Space Station was built

5) The US sent probes to Mars 

6) The American people joined together after 9/11

Yet the first time Obama was proud of America was when her husband was nominated for the presidency.

Apparently Michelle benefited from the fact that Barack could direct money towards her employer:

In January 2005 Barack Obama was sworn in as a US Senator.

In March 2005 Michelle was promoted by the University of Chicago Hospital to a newly created position, Vice President for Community and External Affairs, and her salary went from $121,910 to $316,962.

In January 2006 Barack requested a $1,000,000 earmark for a new pavilion at the University of Chicago.

On 9 January 2009 Michelle Obama resigned.

On 14 January 2009 the position of Vice President for Community and External Affairs was eliminated.

Can't get a much clearer example of pay to play Chicago style than that.

What did Michelle Obama do that was worth so much money?  She created a program that kept poor people from using the excellent University of Chicago Hospital by directing them to lower quality hospitals.  She initially called her plan the "South Side Health Collaborative" which featured counselors who tried to get low income patients to not go to UC but rather to other hospitals.

Here's what the Chicago Sun Times said at the time:

"Michelle Obama -- currently on unpaid leave from her $317,000-a-year job as a vice president of the prestigious hospital -- helped create the program, which aims to find neighborhood doctors for low-income people who were flooding the emergency room for basic treatment"

""I've heard complaints from a handful of constituents, but I've also had calls from people in the health care profession complaining," said Ald. Toni Preckwinkle, whose 4th Ward is just north of the hospital. "The medical professionals who have come to me are accusing the university of dumping patients on its neighboring institutions"

The Washington Post also wrote about Michelle's plan:

"Quentin Young, a local physician whose five-doctor medical office lists Barack Obama among its patients, said that in past decades the South Side often viewed the institution as a "citadel of exclusion," more interested in research than the well-being of its neighbors. [...]

The hospital told state regulators it spent $10 million on charity care for the poor in fiscal 2007 -- 1.3 percent of its total hospital expenses, according to an analysis performed for The Washington Post by the bipartisan, nonprofit Center for Tax and Budget Accountability. That is below the 2.1 percent average for nonprofit hospitals in Cook County. 

As a nonprofit, the University of Chicago Medical Center receives annual tax breaks worth nearly five times as much as it spends on charity care, the analysis found."

"Edward Novak, president of Chicago's Sacred Heart Hospital, declined to discuss the center's initiative in particular but dismissed as "bull" attempts to justify such programs as good for patients. "What they're really saying is, 'Don't use our emergency room because it will cost us money, and we don't want the public-aid population,' " 

Michelle Obama worked hard to ensure that poor minorities didn't use the UC Hospital because UC wanted to make money which required that it take care of people with health insurance not Medicare.

Hopefully these facts will give you a more well rounded picture of Michelle Obama than her autobiography alone will.

The left gives away hypodermic needles but bans straws

As a supposed way to reduce HIV transmission the leftists in California make it easy for drug addicts to get new hypodermic needles.  San Francisco alone spends more than $500,000 a year for those needles--how many poor people could you help with that sort of money?. Of course many of those after they're used end up on the streets or on beaches where children can end up stabbed with them.

So basically the left is encouraging covering CA with dangerous used needles.

California has also made it illegal for restaurants to give out plastic straws unless customers ask for them. San Francisco is going further and banning plastic straws.

According to the EarthDay website--I don't know about you but I care about the earth each and every day not just once a year-- here are the sources of ocean plastic:

So the US is better than North Korea.  China adds 33 times more plastic to the ocean than the US.  But we need to panic over straws in the US? Really?

How about we panic over hypodermic needles instead?

Could any honest person have believed the Steele dossier?

Some people are trying to say that while the grossly illegal conspiracy against Donald Trump was wrong that the people behind it--such as Comey, Brennan, Mueller etc--were good people seriously concerned about Russian interference in an American election.

But that's demonstrably false.

First note that when it turned out that the DNC had gotten millions of dollars from China back in 1996 as part of an effort of the Chinese to increase their influence in American elections there was no special prosecutor and the FBI did not launch a secret investigation into Bill Clinton.

Second note that when it was disclosed that Obama's campaign was acting in a manner to encourage illegal foreign contributions no one at the FBI or DOJ launched a secret investigation to see if Obama was being bought.

Hence in the past even when there was clear evidence of foreigners trying to influence a US election no one in the Swamp panicked. A cynic might say that because in those cases Democrats benefited we shouldn't be surprised that no one was bothered since the Swamp has two sets of laws; one for its own denizens and one for we the people.

Further we know that the people in the government knew from the get go that there were huge problems with the Steele dossier.

On Oct 13 2016 long before the FBI used the Steele dossier was used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec shared her serious concerns with the accuracy of the Steele dossier with other government officials including the FBI.

Among her points was that the dossier said that the Russians were paying their American assets who were hacking the election out of the Russian Consulate in Miami but that there is no Russian Consulate in Miami.

Comey testified to Congress that even by the time he was fired, long after the FISA warrants were obtained, that the FBI had not in fact verified the Steele dossier.

But the government conspirators told the FISA court that in fact the Steele dossier was verified.

Of course professionals like Comey and Brennan knew the dossier was a fake.  Think about it.  How likely is it that a former British spy, whose identity is known to the Russian secret police, will be able to talk to many high level sources in Russia without Putin knowing about it?  If Putin was helping Trump how likely is it that anyone, much less many high up people, would be willing to take Steele's, well really Hillary's, money given that in doing so they'd be spitting in Putin's face?

The much more logical conclusion was that if Steele didn't make the whole thing up that it was in fact  disinformation that Putin was deliberately sending to the US.  After all everyone now agrees that the Russians in no material way impacted the 2016 election but the slow coup attempted by Comey et al has been a serious burden on the US for 2+ years now.  Clearly Putin came out ahead by giving Comey et al a lie that they'd love to believe.

The simple reality is that if anything like the Steele report had shown up on another subject, say Russian hypersonic technology, no one in the Intel community or the FBI would have taken it seriously.  Especially if it turned out that Boeing or some other US aerospace company that wanted the US to spend more on hypersonics funded it.

Hence given the reaction to previous cases of clear attempts by foreign powers to influence elections and the total implausibility of the Steele dossier--including gross errors in it-- either Comey et al would have to be amazingly stupid or the reality is that they wanted it to be true so they acted as though it was or they were blinded by their ideology and simply couldn't imagine anything bad about Trump not being true; but that's irresponsible too.

They weren't honest patriots trying to help their country; they were die hard Democrats who used their positions to try and nullify the 2016 election.

NOAA says that global warming isn't increasing hurricane frequency

You probably haven't heard about this since it goes against the whole climate change hoax but the NOAA issued a report that says that hurricanes haven't been getting worse.

The report says that after correcting for the fact that prior to satellite based observations hurricanes were missed due to the limited coverage of ship based networks:

" there remains just a small nominally positive upward trend in tropical storm occurrence from 1878-2006. Statistical tests indicate that this trend is not significantly distinguishable from zero"

Which means that the warmists who keep claiming that there are more hurricanes due to global warming are wrong.

Here's a plot from the report:

The report states: 

"The evidence for an upward trend is even weaker if we look at U.S. landfalling hurricanes, which even show a slight negative trend beginning from 1900 or from the late 1800s (Figure 3, blue curve)."

So if you hear warmists whining about how hurricane Dorian proves that we're all going to die due to climate change you can tell them the NOAA says that they're wrong.

Democrats go all in for atheism; sort of

The DNC has passed a resolution lauding the "nones"; the religiously unaffiliated.

Atheists are shouting cheers of joy. The only problem is most "nones" believe in God.

While atheists and Pew are desperately trying to convince us that 23% of Americans don't believe in God the reality is far different. Using Pew's own data we find that only 3% of Americans say that they're atheists, 4% said they are agnostic and the rest of the "nones" believe in some type of God or higher power.  Most the "nones" are "nones" because they're not affiliated with a specific church or denomination.

Here's how the resolution ends:

1. The value, ethical soundness, and importance of the religiously unaffiliated demographic, a group of Americans who contribute in innumerable ways to the arts, sciences, medicine, business, law, the military, their communities, the success of the Party and prosperity of the nation; and
2. That religiously unaffiliated Americans are a group that, as much as any other, advocates for rational public policy based on sound science and universal humanistic values and should be represented, included, and heard by the Party.

 There are problems with this.  Atheists don't believe in objective morality so that they believe, for example, that raping children isn't objectively and always wrong.  Now they don't support raping children but that's because they've inherited their morality from the Christian society they grew up in.

Another problem is that there are no "universal humanistic values".  The only atheist societies in the history of the world, the various communist regimes, pushed values, like the mass murder of dissidents, that few American atheists would support.  Atheism can't support universal values because if atheists are right then the only source of moral guidance are people and people disagree about what is right.  For example Southerners in the US in 1859 generally believed that slavery was an ok thing; something that, thanks be to God, we reject.  There is no superman who can objectively decide which men are right and which are wrong in the atheists universe and hence there can be no "universal" values.

The full resolution is here but this part shows the real purpose of this resolution; throwing out the 1st Amendment and eliminating religious liberty:

WHEREAS, the nonreligious have often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in American society, particularly in the areas of politics and policymaking where assumptions of religiosity have long predominated; and
WHEREAS, those most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of “religious liberty,” to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities; and
WHEREAS, the Democratic Party is an inclusive organization that recognizes that morals, values, and patriotism are not unique to any particular religion, and are not necessarily reliant on having a religious worldview at all;

What's interesting here is that the DNC is declaring that all Christian values are bad and that Christian values must always submit to leftist values on issue like gay marriage.

It's no accident that the DNC put religious liberty in scare quotes; they clearly hate the fact that most of society isn't on board with their hedonistic agenda.

This is one more step in the Democrats effort to silence people of faith and to effectively eliminate the First Amendment.

What this screed lacks is the self awareness that if there is no God then the moral beliefs of Christians are no better or no worse than that of atheists.  There is no way to show, in an atheist universe, that their attitudes towards gays etc are better than that of Christians.  Yet the resolution clearly says that the atheist morality is the correct morality.

The unstated assumption is that total freedom to do anything is always better than any sort of restriction. But that's not in fact something that works when tried in societies.

It's interesting to note that atheism is a faith based belief system; ie a religion remember that Buddhism is a religion but Buddhists don't believe in a god. Atheists can't show the the Bible is wrong or that God isn't necessary to explain anything in the universe; they accept those and many other things based solely on their faith.

What we see here is not just a repudiation of religious liberty but the establishment of a state "church" which is given special privileges and which uses the power of government to oppress all other faith based belief systems.

Joe Biden implies women shouldn't get jobs or that the Japanese are stupid

In one of his all too familiar rambling talks Joe Biden said that because the Japanese are "xenophobic" they want women to stay in the job market rather than stay home and take care of kids.

Here's what Biden said:

"Japan is in a position where traditionally women are as well-educated as men, but the tradition was, once they had a child, they were to drop out of the job market,"

"There's an entire move, because they're xenophobic — because they don't want to invite other people from outside their country to come in and make up the workforce — they have fewer workers than they have a need for workers," Biden said. "And so, what they've done is they've decided to encourage women to stay in the job market."

It's pretty clear that Biden is saying that the only reason that Japanese women have jobs is that the Japanese are xenophobic and don't want foreigners in their country.  Which in turn seems to be saying that Biden thinks that women should be at home taking care of the children.

But as usual Joe contradicts himself because he also said the following:

“You cannot succeed as a country if you leave more than half of your brainpower on the sidelines,”

That seems to imply that Biden thinks it's good that women work and leave raising their children to strangers even when that's not financially necessary.

Perhaps Biden was saying that the Japanese are both stupid, for wanting women to raise their children, and xenophobic, for not wanting to flood their country with people who don't share Japanese culture.

Aside from Biden's comments on the proper role of women in society his use of the term xenophobic--an irrational fear of foreigners-- is also revealing.

Democrats like Biden are working hard to import as many foreigners who don't share our ideals of individual responsibility as possible. They're enthused about the US becoming a worse version of Canada where it's necessary to speak multiple languages.  It's clear that Democrats hate the America that is and are doing their best to change America by bringing in millions of people who don't share the American vision of limited government, individual liberties, and personal responsibility.

Hence to them the idea that a country might want to maintain its culture--, paraphrasing Obama, if you like your culture you can keep your culture--is a bad thing.  This is one more piece of evidence that Democrats hate America and want to transform it into a socialist hell hole where they rule over us rather than represent us.

Politics replaces family as Democrats deconstruct humanity

Human beings are designed, either by God or evolution or both, to want to be part of a family.  We need mothers, fathers, siblings, cousins, grandparents etc.

Modern Democrats are doing everything in their power to force Americans to live as autonomous entities unmoored from the family bonds which for so many millennia have been critical to true happiness.

From making divorce easy to demonizing children as burdens rather than blessings Democrats have been breaking the bonds that make society and which let people know that they belong.

Mary Eberstadt makes the point that the lack of family moorings leads people to replace the family with a political identity.

Getting likes on Twitter replaces sitting around the living room with your family.  Given the deep need we have as human beings for acceptance, and love, from others if being approved of on social media is replacing that then it's clear why people would get so upset at any voice that disagrees with them.

Contrary voices, in our distorted modern environment, are like our family rejecting us and as such are  extraordinarily painful.

In that light the otherwise insane comments by the left about how speech is violence suddenly appear to have some basis.  That is not a just basis but at least we can understand why some snowflake goes wacko over a differing political view; in the mind of the snowflake someone is attacking her family, someone is attacking her.

When politics replaces family it instantly ups the ante and makes it impossible to disagree with someone's politics without despising them as a person.  If politics is what defines us, as opposed to the historical norm of who we are as people which included our place in our families, then by definition any disagreement about politics becomes an attack on who we are.

This is just one more consequence of Democrats plan to deconstruct humanity and replace it with a new vision of man as an autonomous being whose only loyalty is to the State.

If you don't like murder you don't have to murder anyone rejected by University of Vermont Medical Center

We knew that leftists were extremists on abortion; they're now supporting abortion after birth.

But the University of Vermont Medical Center(UVMC) has taken it to a new level by forcing a nurse who recognizes that science says every abortion kills a human being to participate in an abortion.

You've probably heard proaborts say that if you don't like abortions you should just not have one.  Yet UVMC has rejected even that.

UVMC's policy, which is direct violation of law, is that if they can accommodate people who don't want to murder unborn babies they will.

The law is simpler; someone who finds abortion to be wrong can't be forced to participate in it.

Like all evil doers the people at UVMC, who profit off the murder of innocent unborn human beings, want to force good people to endorse and participate in their crimes.

Apparently the pro-choice movement only supports one choice; killing.

The Fix is In; why Comey isn't being prosecuted

If a conservative FBI agent had leaked sensitive FBI material to the press in order to start a special prosecutors investigation of President Obama there would have been hell to pay.

FBI agents aren't super citizens who can disregard government policy in order to advance their own private political agenda.  Yet that's precisely what Comey did.  He kept documents that weren't his to keep and he leaked them to the press and private attorneys without going through the proper FBI channels.

That's what the Inspector General said:

"[E]ven when these employees believe that their most strongly-held personal convictions might be served by an unauthorized disclosure, the FBI depends on them not to disclose sensitive information. Former Director Comey failed to live up to this responsibility," the report said. "By not safeguarding sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment, and by using it to create public pressure for official action, Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees—and the many thousands more former FBI employees—who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information."

Yet DOJ has said that it wasn't even a close call to decide to not prosecute Comey.  That's the same DOJ that prosecuted an American hero, Flynn, for supposedly lying to the FBI when the FBI agents who conducted an ambush interrogation that Flynn didn't even know was an interrogation said that they didn't think he lied.

The rules are clear; if you're a conservative then you will be prosecuted for anything no matter how small or ambiguous.  If you're a leftist then you can do pretty much anything and escape punishment.

We saw this when a sailor was sentenced to years in the brig for taking photos that he shouldn't have even though he had no intention of sharing classified data while Hillary Clinton exposed huge amounts of highly classified data to the Chinese in direct violation of government policies, and also hid information that she was required to save due to government transparency laws, wasn't even questioned under oath.

No one is saying that Comey should get 100 years at hard labor but saying that it's ok for government officials to effectively wage a war against politicians they don't like by taking advantage of their position is a very dangerous precedent.

We've seen this before. When Joe the Plumber asked Obama a question he didn't like Democrats in government leaked Joe's private information to the press.  

To the left and the Swamp they have every right to do anything to hurt we the people because they view themselves as our betters and our rulers.  

There are two systems of justice in America today; one for the left and one for the rest of us.  It' time to change that.

Biden's adheres to his "truth" not the facts: Heritage Foundation edition

In a speech Joe Biden said that the Heritage Foundation believed that Trump's tax cuts were bad.

Of course that's exactly the opposite of what Heritage has been saying.  Instead Heritage points out the huge boost to the economy that the tax cuts helped cause and the fact that average American's wages are rising at around 3% for the last 11 months; a far cry from the dismal days when Biden was vice president.

Joe then sorta corrected himself while still being wrong by saying that Heritage doesn't like the tax cuts because of the increased deficit spending.  What Heritage actually says is that we need to cut the deficit but the right way to do it isn't increasing taxes but reducing out of control Federal spending.

Democrats; truth free since the Civil War.

New NOAA sensor system shows no US warming since 2005

The temperature sensors used by warmists are notoriously unreliable because over time they've been impacted by urban growth and as a result show higher temperatures due to the urban heat island effect.

In fact without the corrections that warmists apply to the raw temperature data those sensors wouldn't show the warming trend that warmists try to scare you with.  Given that expanding urban areas means that sensors will tend to have higher temperatures even if the world wasn't warming one would think that modern temperatures would be adjusted down but in fact warmists adjust modern temperatures up and older temperatures down; the exact opposite of what should be done but precisely what is needed to make it look like we're all doomed.

Fortunately not all government employees are evil so the NOAA established a new network of 114 sensors distributed around the continental US which are far away from urban areas and developments that could distort the temperatures the sensor measure.  This new network is called the US Climate Reference Network(USCRN).

USCRN started collecting data in 2005 and the good news is that the temperature of the US hasn't been going up as shown in this plot of temperature vs time:

Given that over this time frame the climate models all show significant warming it's clear that the current climate models, the ones that people say predict our doom unless we turn all our money over to the the government and give up all our freedom not to mention kill all the cows, are wrong.

This is more evidence of why you can't trust the warmists who declare that we will all die in 10 or 12 years.

The reality is that the earth is probably warming a little bit because we're coming out of a little ice age and while we should keep studying our climate there is no reason to panic.

The real reason that warmists are pitching their tired old tale is as a justification for their attempts to raise taxes on the poor through higher energy costs and to massively increase the power of government over we the people.

Bernie Sanders doesn't seem to mind mass murder to reduce poverty

Sanders had this to say about China:

"China is a country that is moving, unfortunately, in a more authoritarian way in a number of directions," Sanders said. "But what we have to say about China in fairness to China and its leadership is, if I’m not mistaken, they have made more progress in addressing extreme poverty than any country in the history of civilization. So they’ve done a lot of things for their people."

First thing to note is that China has always been run by mass murdering tyrants so it's unclear what in the heck Bernie is thinking when he says that they're moving in an authoritarian direction.  The rulers of China killed thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators in Tiananmen Square in 1989.  Clearly they've been at authoritarianism for a very long time.

This is revealing since it indicates that Bernie has a very different view of what is authoritarian than most Americans.

Second thing is that Bernie doesn't mention either China's forced abortion policy which was a key part of their plan to reduce poverty by killing off huge numbers of unborn girls--in China its the sons who take care of their elderly parents so if a family can have only one child they wanted that child to be a boy-- or the mass murder of 60,000,000 people by the Chinese government.

The only thing that the Chinese government has done to reduce poverty is to effectively abolish socialism and allow free market capitalism--something Bernie rejects.

One things for sure a Bernie presidency would be very pro-China and very anti-American.

Harvard study shows that wind power is worse than fossil fuels

The Harvard study shows that replacing the US's fossil fuels with wind power would result in an increase in US surface temperature of 0.24 deg C.

That is more significant than the lowering of temperature that would be achieved by replacing fossil fuels. 

Now it's impossible with current technology to replace all of our fossil fuel energy with wind power; and doing so would probably drive most bird species in America to extinction but what this shows is just one more example of warmists not looking at all the impacts when extolling the wonders of renewable energy.

For example when estimating the cost of wind power warmists assume that the units will last a certain number of years. However we're seeing signs that the units will not in fact last that long.

Similarly the impact of all the birds killed by the wind mills and the cost of having back up fossil fuel energy sources for when the wind isn't blowing aren't taken into account either.

One interesting quote from the summary is the following:

"The warming effect is: small compared with projections of 21st century warming, approximately equivalent to the reduced warming achieved by decarbonizing global electricity generation, and large compared with the reduced warming achieved by decarbonizing US electricity with wind."

What that is saying is that if we managed to eliminate all fossil fuel use for generating electric power the globe would cool by about 0.24 deg C.  Remember that when warmists talk about the earth warming by 1.9 to 3 deg C.  Clearly dramatically increasing the price of electricity by using the much more expensive wind power will hurt the poor, who spend a higher fraction of their budgets on energy than the rich, and not significantly reduce global warming.

Trump loans co-signed by Russians? Apparently only in the imagination of an unnamed source

MSNBC liar made the shocking claim that records at Deutsche Bank showed that Trump had gotten loans that were co-signed by Russian oligarchs.

A source close to Deutsche Bank says Trump’s tax returns show he pays very little income tax and, more importantly, that his loans have Russian co-signers.

If true, that explains every kind word Trump has ever said about Russia and Putin. @TheLastWord 10pm

The problem is that now an MSNBC producer has admitted that not only does NBC have no confirmation of the claims of this anonymous and unidentified source but that the source admits to not having actually seen the documents he's talking about:

Deutsche Bank is declining to comment on Lawrence O’Donnell’s reporting that Russian oligarch’s co-signed Trump’s loans. The information came from a single source who has not seen the bank records. NBC has not seen those records and has not yet been able to verify the reporting.

Aside from the fact that this proves that MSNBC will say anything that would appear to damage Trump with absolutely no concern for its veracity it also shows that MSNBC is nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Democrat party.

Can you imagine MSNBC doing this sort of thing about Bernie or Joe Biden?  Of course not.  

What's also odd is that this says that MSNBC thinks that Mueller was incompetent.  After all Mueller looked and looked and looked and declared that there was no collusion.  His report doesn't mention Russians co-signing loans.  Given that Mueller had access to all of the information about Trump if this sort of thing were true Mueller would have found it unless he was an utter idiot.

At least until November 2020 you will see an unending stream of similar lies about Trump, remember his wanting to nuke hurricanes from yesterday?, so relax and remember that they're all lies.

Why you can't trust the #FakeNews media: J.D. Vance edition

In a Washington Post editorial Marissa Brostoff lied about conservative author J.D. Vance and said that he'd complained about not enough white babies being born.  She used that to declare that pro-lifers were white nationalists.

The only problem is that J.D.Vance said nothing of the sort.  Here's what the WaPo published:

"[A]s replacement discourse enters the conservative mainstream, talk of birthrates comes along with it. “Our people aren’t having enough children to replace themselves. That should bother us,” J.D. Vance, author of the best-selling “Hillbilly Elegy,” told his audience at the National Conservatism Conference last month; earlier this year, he described himself as “appalled” by Democrats’ permissive attitudes toward abortion. Vance did not spell out exactly who was included in the word “our.” He didn’t need to."

Brostoff was right, he didn't need to because right before he said that he said this:

"There are a lot of ways to measure a healthy society, but the most important way to measure a healthy society is by whether a nation is having enough children to replace itself. Do people look to the future and see a place worth having children in? Do they have economic prospects and the expectation that they’re going to be able to put a good roof over that kid’s head, food on the table, and provide that child with a good education? By every statistic that we have, people are answering “no” to all of those questions."

Which made clear that by our people he meant Americans.  Brostoff should have known that so it's likely she deliberately lied to smear a conservative and to provide "support" for her claim that white nationalists are embracing the pro-life movement.  It's also possible that she's merely incompetent and careless and didn't bother to read the paragraph before the comment she quoted.

Another option is that despite there being no racist strain to J.D. Vance's work she simply assumed that anyone who isn't a hard core leftist and who is white is a racist. 

Whatever the reason it was an egregious error which undermined the entire point of her editorial.

The reality is that while some white nationalists may embrace the pro-life movement many reject it precisely because Black women are 3 times as likely to abort as white women.  Democrat supported abortion is doing a great job keeping the US Black population low since the leading cause of death for Black Americans is now abortion.

Interestingly leftists like Ms. Brostoff never seem bothered about that huge racial disparity and continue to support Planned Parenthood which targets minorities for abortions.

On the plus side there is one actual nugget of truth in this otherwise totally dishonest article:

“While abortion access itself is in no way an expression of eugenic ideology, mainstream reproductive rights organizations for too long made a truce — and even found common cause — with supporters of eugenics.”

After all the founder of Planned Parenthood wanted to ensure that "undesirables"--Blacks and Catholics for example--didn't reproduce so that only the "better" AngloSaxon white people would continue to run America.  In fact it's fair to say that Margret Sanger was, using todays nomenclature, a white nationalist.

Abortion supporters have found common cause with racists and bigots.  Many Democrat abortion supporters have said that abortions save us money because otherwise there would be more criminals and people on welfare; and when they speak unlike the case of J.D. Vance it's either explicit or implicit that they're talking about aborting Black babies.

Similarly abortion advocates are generally enthused about aborting any baby who might not be perfect; eugenics 101.

When confronted with the facts the WaPo removed the lie about J.D. Vance but left in the conclusion that mainstream pro-lifers were talking about replacement discourse even though the only example she had of that was J.D. Vance.

Just one more example of how the WaPo is working tirelessly to keep we the people in the dark.

Leftists reveal their biases once they're out of office: Bill Dudely edition

The former head of the New York Federal Reserve, Bill Dudley, is calling on the Fed to tank get political and tank the economy to ensure that Trump won't be elected.

"U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war with China keeps undermining the confidence of businesses and consumers, worsening the economic outlook. This manufactured disaster-in-the-making presents the Federal Reserve with a dilemma: Should it mitigate the damage by providing offsetting stimulus, or refuse to play along?

…I understand and support Fed officials’ desire to remain apolitical. But Trump’s ongoing attacks on Powell and on the institution have made that untenable. Central bank officials face a choice: enable the Trump administration to continue down a disastrous path of trade war escalation, or send a clear signal that if the administration does so, the president, not the Fed, will bear the risks — including the risk of losing the next election.

There’s even an argument that the election itself falls within the Fed’s purview. After all, Trump’s reelection arguably presents a threat to the U.S. and global economy, to the Fed’s independence and its ability to achieve its employment and inflation objectives. If the goal of monetary policy is to achieve the best long-term economic outcome, then Fed officials should consider how their decisions will affect the political outcome in 2020."

This is an amazing admission that a former senior government official is calling for an unelected group of rich folks to wreck the financial situation of millions of Americans in order to further their own personal political agenda.

Of course rich people like the members of the Fed and this guy won't be hurt if we enter a recession and neither do they have to worry about losing their jobs due to unfair Chinese trade practices. Given the leftist mind set that they are better than us and are our rulers they don't mind if we suffer in order to achieve their goals.

Keep this in mind when you hear all the scare stories about a recession.  People like this guy and Bill Maher have let the cat out of the bag; Democrats will work with China to do everything they can to drop the US into a recession so that a Democrat can win in 2020. China is all in because they know that Democrats are fully supportive of China's predatory trade practices that help rich Americans but steal jobs from millions of hard working Americans.

The reality is we're not looking at a recession but if the lies of the #FakeNews media and dishonest actions by the Fed scare enough people the left might be able to manufacture a tragedy for the hard working men and women of America.

Trump bans Acosta for being disruptive and the media melts O'Rourke bans reporter and media irritated

When Trump temporarily banned Jim Acosta, a dishonest #FakeNews reporter, from the White House press conference for his disruptive behavior the media rose up in fury.

But the other day Beto O'Rourke kicked a Breitbart reporter out of his press conference and the media while tut tuting seems to be less perturbed than they were about the Acosta case.

The reality is simple Democrats and their stooges in the #FakeNews media are doing everything they can to ensure that we the people are kept in the dark about what Democrats really stand for.  To do that they need to silence every voice that doesn't agree with them.

Sometimes they do that by demonizing people; calling them Nazis and white nationalists.

Sometimes they do that by having the dishonest leftists who run Google etc ensure that their algorithms deplatform any conservative voice.

Sometimes they do that by throwing people who ask embarrassing questions, like the Breitbart reporter who had previously asked O'Rourke if O'Rourke's spreading the lie that Trump had said that white nationalists were fine people wasn't divisive and hence inconsistent with O'Rourke's claim that he'll bring we the people together, out of their press conferences.

The Washington Post says that "Democracy Dies in Darkness" and since Democrats hate democracy--which is why they love the Supreme Court making up laws that could never be passed through the democratic process-- the Democrats and the #FakeNews media are working hard to keep us in the dark.

Dishonest judges at it again; tax payers have to pay for fake sex change surgery

A 31 year old convicted child molester is going to get free fake sex change surgery curtesy of the you the taxpayers if the wacko judges on the 9th Circuit have their way.

The court's ruling says:

"We hold that where, as here, the record shows that the medically necessary treatment for a prisoner's gender dysphoria is gender confirmation surgery, and responsible prison officials deny such treatment with full awareness of the prisoner's suffering, those officials violate the Eighth Amendment's prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment,"

What makes this really amazing is we know that people who pretend to change their sex have suicide rates 20 times higher than the general population.

This is sadly not surprising. People who think they're the wrong sex clearly have serious mental illness that has nothing to do with what reproductive organs they have.  But simply performing extensive plastic surgery and pumping them full of dangerous chemicals doesn't address the root problems which lead them to want to be something they're not.

When they finish with the procedure they suddenly discover that plastic surgery and hormones don't address the real problems that they were facing.  At that point they're like people on death row who've exhausted all their appeals; they don't think they have any way to in fact get better.  Hence they are sadly much more likely to try to kill themselves than if they'd actually addressed what made them think that they weren't wonderful people just as they were.

The court's ruling is absurd since not only is there no evidence that fake sex change surgery actually makes things better for these troubled people but because we know that it does in fact make it worse for many of them.

Clearly the court's rulings, as most rulings by dishonest judges, is a political statement designed to put the full power and authority of the government behind the scientifically absurd idea that men can become women.

In doing so the court is using the mentally ill to advance the left's hedonistic agenda even though by doing so they're hurting those sick people.

When a friend tells you he's Napoleon the truly loving response is to tell him he's wonderful just as he is; the response given by people who don't care is to call him my Emperor.

Think about it; the truth shall set you free and pretending that your friend can change his sex is a bald faced lie that will only hurt him.

The transgendered aren't monsters or evil people; they're people suffering from an extreme form of mental illness--similar to those people who want doctors to amputate their arm or leg because they don't believe that that limb is really part of them--who need our love and our support not our enabling of their destructive delusions.

It's time to call out how the left and dishonest judges are using those poor people to further the left's agenda without any concern for the consequences for the transgendered.

Joe Walsh; not all disingenuous folk are on the left

Joe Walsh, someone I've never heard of, is a supposed conservative who is going to run against Trump for the Republican nomination in 2020.

Even though I don't know anything about him I know that he's either ill informed or dishonest.

That's because in an interview on CNN, and all loyal Republicans who are primarying their parties president for the good of conservatism always turn first to CNN to get their message out, he implied that he lost his radio show because his listeners are pro-Trump.

But that's not the case.  Whenever a radio personality declares that they're running for president their stations are basically required to boot them because if they don't every minute of air time is a campaign contribution.

I think reasonable people see this; if George Stephanopoulos decided to run for Senate and ABC let him stay on the air afterwards we would all agree that ABS was unfairly helping his campaign.

Hence either this Walsh guy is so clueless about the political process that he didn't know that declaring he was running for President would force the stations that play his show to terminate it or he knew and he's trying to act as though he's being persecuted.

Not knowing his politics I can only say that by his behavior he'd fit right into the Democratic primaries.

UN declared whole nations would die if global warming not stoped in 2000

"A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2029.

Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP. 

He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control."

You may be asking why this is worth writing about.  Well it turns out that I lied to you; I replaced the 2000 in the original article, which was published in 1989, with 2029.

This is why people who are acquainted with history are cautious in accepting the claims of the Squad and other Democrats that we've got 10 or 12 years to save the world; something that strangely can only be accomplished by giving Democrats all our money and renouncing all our freedoms.

The reality is simple; the warmists have a strong incentive to lie to us because it gets them money and power.

The same people who say that any study that shows that global warming...er climate change is neither an existential crisis or man made because it was funded by energy companies ignore the fact that politicians and climate scientists are getting rich and powerful by saying that the world is going to end.

People like Mann whose fraudulent hockey stick diagram is one of the mainstays of the warmist movement get lots more funding than they would if they said that any warming that's occurring is natural and hence there is no basis for changing the entire worlds economic system or for giving politicians even more power over us.

The real author of the Green New Deal, AOC's former chief of staff, admitted that the GND is not about the climate but about completely changing the American economy.  If the GND occurs only the rich will eat meat, only the rich will have cars, while the rest of us will be taxed to death and turned into little more than serfs who do what our rulers command and whose freedoms are completely controlled by the elites.

The reason that the insane ramblings of eco extremists are getting more traction than they did back then is that the dishonest Democrats have managed to distort school curriculums into propaganda engines to push the Democrats agenda.  Kids aren't taught to reason and they're taught lies about the climate.

All of us who know the facts need to educate everyone we know. Don't tell them that they have to deny climate change; instead tell them that people have been making the same fake 10 years before we die claims for 30 years and they've never come true before.

Proof that NYT "reporters" are sleeping on the job; newsroom infested with bed bugs

We now have a better excuse for the bizarre, lying, and unethical "reporting" coming out of the New York Times; the "journalists" are sleep writing.

Staffers at the Grey Lady have bemoaned the fact that the newsroom is infested with bed bugs.

But bed bugs are found near where people sleep.  Hence it's clear that there's a lot of sleeping going on in the NYT newsroom.

This is a great relief to those of us who worry about the state of dishonest lying reporters souls; we can find solace in that the NYT staff isn't committing their sins against the truth while conscious but while in a somnambulant state where their higher mental functions aren't engaged.

It's only appropriate that we update the old saying "asleep at the wheel" to "asleep at the keyboard" to make it clear that we can understand and forgive the NYT's two years of lying about collusion because we now know that the staff didn't deliberately lie to us; instead it was just that they wrote down their nightmares as though they were real.

Beto O'Rourke says that a baby one day prior to birth can be killed

People who listen to what the Democrats actually do and say know that Democrats hate the unborn and want to allow them to be killed up to and even after birth.

But it's not that often that we hear a Democrat admit that.

Beto O'Rourke, the pretend Hispanic, was asked by a man who was born on 9/8/1989 if his life had no value on 9/7/1989.  Beto's answer was:

"Of course I don’t think that. And of course I’m glad that you’re here. But you referenced my answer in Ohio, and it remains the same. This is a decision that neither you, nor I, nor the United States government should be making. That’s a decision for the woman to make. "

Beto was clearly lying when he said that he didn't think that the man's life had no value.  Because Beto went on to say that whether or not the man was killed by his mother was entirely up to his mother.

Imagine for a moment if someone said that if a mother decided that she didn't like her 2 week old baby daughter the decision about whether or not to kill that child was entirely the mothers.  Wouldn't that say that the daughters life had no value?  After all if the daughter's life had value society would have a duty to protect it wouldn't it?  

It's clear that Beto is saying that in fact he, Beto, believed that the questioners life had no value otherwise Beto couldn't support the man's mother's right to kill him the day before he was born.

We need to get the message out that Democrats don't support abortion in the hard cases where a woman has been raped or when her life is in danger. They don't support aborting clumps of cells; they support murdering a fully formed viable baby one day before her birth; and after her birth if she managed to survive a late term abortion attempt.

Most Americans who support abortion do so only in the hard cases or in the first trimester. Only around 18% support the Democrats position of abortion for any reason at any time during pregnancy and I suspect the fraction that supports the new Democrat position of post-birth abortion is even smaller.

Voting for Democrats isn't about ensuring that women who are raped can have an abortion it's about ensuring that women who decide the day before or after giving birth that they don't want their daughter can get their daughter killed by a medical professional.

Trump's soft power war on Chinese imperialism

China tried to put military bases in Greenland and is claiming the entire South China Sea for itself.

Even Obama realized that China, not Russia, is the real threat to America near term.  The Chinese have interfered in US elections by illegal contributions to Democrat candidates and Putin's imperial ambitions are limited to places far from America and limited by the dying Russian economy.

Trump is using soft power to blunt the Chinese governments actions and keep Asia free.

Contrary to the lying #FakeNews media Trump didn't start a trade war with China.  When he took office Chinese tariffs on US goods were four times higher than US tariffs on Chinese good, China was stealing hundreds of billions of dollars worth of other countries intellectual property, and China was manipulating its currency.

The only thing Trump started was fighting back to protect American workers from predatory Chinese practices that artificially lowered the cost of production in China.

Trump's response has been to impose economic pain on China which, as seen by the recent failure of 3 major Chinese banks and the Asian stock markets responses, are hurting China in a major way.

One big lever the Chinese had was that they could hurt US farmers by not buying US agricultural products. Trump has negated that by working with Japan.  Japan is even more threatened by Chinese imperialism and the US is so they were glad to agree to buy billions of dollars of US grain.

The deal with Japan also shows that the #FakeNews media, and many conservatives, are wrong about Trump being a protectionist.  Japan agreed to open markets to the US and Trump agreed to lower tariffs on many Japanese exports.  Trump clearly wants a free trade system but the actions of the Chinese weren't supporting free trade; they were a classic example of a mercantile system designed o enrich China by exploiting other countries through asymmetric trade barriers.

Trump is moving to establish an agreement with another country, India, that is being threatened by China.  India has already fought a war against Chinese imperialism and they recognize the threat a totalitarian dictatorship poses to freedom in Asia.  They'll be glad to do anything that will help decrease Chinese power.  By helping the US blunt the impact of tariffs on Chinese products India will enable the US to strike a decisive blow to the expansive plans of the tyrants that rule Beijing.

When Obama and Hillary talked about "leading from behind" and soft power the #FakeNews media lapped it up and sang their praises even though their efforts all failed. Now that Trump is using US economic power to stop Chinese imperialism rather than shedding American blood the #FakeNews media is condemning him.

Just more proof that the real threat to the American press is the unending stream of lies and distortions that the #FakeNews media peddles in order to keep we the people to see how wrong pretty much every Democrat position is.

The Democrats war on language and meaning: 1984 is here edition

The city of San Francisco is now going to stop calling criminals criminals. Common sense truthful terms such as “convicted felon,” “offender,” “convict,” “addict” and “juvenile delinquent” will be replaced with "justice-involved person".

The obvious issue is that the police, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, prison guards, and bailiffs are also "justice-involved persons".

The term criminal will be replaced with "a returning resident" or "a formerly incarcerated person".

The deeper problem is that this is all based on the lefts radical rejection of the concept of evil. To them criminals prey on the rest of us solely because of trauma's in their childhood.  Despite the failure of programs to reform criminals to drive recidivism anywhere near 0% Democrats still feel in their hearts that rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and child molesters are, to some extent, victims. That's why it's a cold day in perdition when you'll see Democrats worrying about victims but everyday is a go easy on poor criminals day for Democrats.

Which is more likely to keep a criminal from committing more crimes; knowing that in doing so he'll be despised by society or telling him that irrespective of his assaults on his neighbors society welcomes him?

But this is just the latest example of Democrats going all 1984 and redefining words to advance their agenda, in this case going easy on criminals.

Democrats dehumanize the unborn by calling them fetuses.  Science tells us that from the moment of conception the unborn are unique human beings.  Further the term fetus, when properly used, is just another term for a stage in human life like child, baby, adult, or senior citizen.  Fetus only refers to unborn babies that are more than 2 months along so it's technically incorrect to say that all aborted babies are fetuses.  Further the word fetus means offspring not non-human as the Democrats would want us to use it.

Democrats want abortion to be legal so that women can be objectified as sex objects and pressured by predatory men into having casual sex.  Hence they need to get people to think that killing an unborn human being isn't really killing; it's just excising a clump of cells.

People who illegally enter our country are "undocumented workers" which is on par with saying that someone who steals from a bank is an "undocumented withdrawer".  Democrats love illegal immigrants because they help Democrats win elections and if Democrats get them all citizenship they will help even more.

We are all called to help criminals reform. We are not called to deny the reality of their actions or to hide their offenses.

Like all other Democrat attempts to silence debate by changing the language we need to resist this one and demand that we not treat police officers and rapists equally as "justice-involved persons".

Obama says he believes in Global Warming but he's buying beach front property

Obama said he'd stop the rise of the oceans when he won the Democrat nomination; just one more promise he didn't keep.

The reality is the oceans are rising and have been doing so for as long as we've measured the ocean height.  It's because we're coming out of a little ice age.

No one can stop it and even if mankind stopped producing any CO2 the oceans would continue to rise.

The question is is the rate of rise such that we'll be facing a catastrophe in 10 to 12 years like Democrats are saying.  The answer is no that's not at all likely.

We know that because not only is Obama spending millions on a beach front house--despite his earlier calls to spread the wealth around--but he and the Democrats who are saying we're all doomed support the Paris Accords. You know the Accords that allow China and India to massively increase their CO2 production for at least 10 to 12 years.

If Democrats really thought we're facing a crisis there is no way that they could support the Paris Accords, or object to nuclear and hydroelectric power either.

The whole global warming...climate change hoax is about pressuring we the people to give up our money and our freedom so that Democrats can rule over us rather than represent us.

After all it's Trump's policies that have actually caused the US CO2 emissions to go down not Obama's.

The left rejects science: gender counting edition

There are two human sexes; male and female.

That's science.

Yet the left in the person of MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing said it was "incendiary" that Republicans believe in science.

This is one more example of the left refusing to discuss an issue. Instead they attempt to demonize and silence anyone who doesn't agree with them.  If the emperor were a Democrat MSNBC would be leading the charge to condemn the kid who said the emperor had no clothes.

The modern insane spectrum of genders is nothing more than making up names for different personalities.  A woman who wears jeans and likes to hunt is still a woman and a man who likes to knit and clean house is still a man.  It's actually pretty sexist to declare that only certain behaviors are acceptable for men and women.

But of course the core of the leftists insanity is the belief that by just wishing, and with some drugs and plastic surgery, a man can become a woman. That's scientifically incorrect as can be seen by noting everyone agrees that a man who has plastic surgery to get elf ears isn't really an elf.

The left's belief is amazing patriarchal; declaring that men can be better women than woman can.  It's also a vicious attack on women saying that there is nothing special about being a woman.

It's amazing that women on the left actually buy into this total devaluation of what it means to be a woman.

CNN hires proven liar, McCabe, as expert

Andrew McCabe was fired from the FBI in march 2018 because a DOJ investigation revealed that he'd lied to investigators under oath about his role in leaking information to the media.

He was lucky; General Flynn is likely to be sentenced to time in jail for lying to FBI investigators.

Well not lucky; he's a leftists swamp dweller who is above the law as his landing a big ticket high salary job at CNN shows. The Swamp takes care of its own.

It says a lot about CNN that they're hiring someone who lied under oath as an "expert".  What CNN wants is McCabe's dislike for Trump and Republicans and his proven willingness to lie.

It's interesting that just the other day CNN chief media correspondent Brian Stelter attacked Fox News for hiring Sarah Huckabee Sanders. According to Stelter Sanders crime was "misleading" the public--ie not saying what Democrats wanted her to say.  Apparently Stelter and CNN find "misleading" worse than lying under oath.

#FakeNews media lies about Trump dropping ABomb on Hurricanes

Lots of stories in the #FakeNews media all based on anonymous sources saying that Trump suggested we use nuclear weapons to keep hurricanes from hitting the US.

Trump has denied it but that doesn't matter; after who do you trust the President or "unnamed sources"?

Interestingly scientists had suggested the same thing in the past.

This is one more reason why the constant lying by the #FakeNews media on the Russian collusion story has destroyed the press in America.  I wouldn't be shocked if Trump had said this, after all scientists have proposed it in the past, but there is no way I can trust a leftist source which only cites unnamed sources.

Essentially it's now hard for we the people to know what's true because the #FakeNews media has lied so much about Trump.

Anti Catholic bigotry: protecting reporters sources but forcing priests to break the seal of the confessional

The same people who insist that reporters not reveal their sources are howling for Catholic priests to break the seal of the confessional.

The same people who insist that lawyers can't be forced to reveal their knowledge of their clients crimes, even child molestation in some cases, are demanding that Catholic priests break the seal of the confessional.

There's absolutely no evidence that child molesters confess their crimes to priests, that's just something we see on TV shows, hence there's no justification for violating the 1st Amendment rights of Catholics to exercise their faith.

This whole movement is based on a hatred of the Church not any real desire to protect children.

Democrats want immigrants to end up on welfare

As is to be expected the Democrats are all upset about Trump declaring that immigrants who are likely to become a public charge, ie will require your tax dollars, aren't going to be accepted.

The Democrats are upset about this since currently 63% of non-citizen households use some sort of welfare program while only 35% of citizens do.

Democrats view immigrants as people who will vote Democrat and they view people who live off taxpayer dollars as highly likely to vote for big government Democrats which is why they're all in for millions of job stealing wage surpassing immigrants.

But seriously why should you be taxed to pay for some immigrants mother's end of life care or for some immigrant who comes over with no job skills and who can't speak english and who is therefore unlikely to contribute to America?

Clearly anyone who wants immigrants who will be a burden to America, and who aren't real refugee's fleeing death, are interested in themselves not America.

NYT endorses leftist antisemitism

Last year the NYT hired an Asian women even after it was revealed that she had a history of hating white people.

Just recently it was revealed that an NYT editor posted virulent antisemitic comments.

The NYT's response is that they're the victims of a conservative cabal that is trying to silence them.

That's right.  The problem isn't the fact that NYT editors are racists and Jew haters it's that evil conservatives have exposed that information to we the people.

Clearly the democracy hating NYT is channelling the Washington Post's mission statement that says that Democracy dies in darkness. The NYT wants you to be in the dark about the hate filled people who generate the news, actually propaganda, that the NYT publishes.

The NYT is bemoaning the fact that conservatives have released the evidence that "journalists" at CNN, the NYT, and WaPo are bigots.

Of course this is the same #FakeNews media that falsely crucified a young boy for wearing a MAGA hat and has done deep dives into the lives of random people who have made anti-Democrat comments like Joe the Plumber.

They just don't like that they are now being exposed for the bigots that they are.

The poor in America are rich compared to the rest of the world

The New York times is condemning the US because it has a poverty rate of 18% which is much worse than that of 36 rich developed countries.

The problem is that the analysis doesn't look at how much money the poor in America have just at how much they earn.  The study ignores income sources such as:

• Medicaid and free healthcare provided by clinics
• Food Stamps, school lunches, school breakfasts, soup kitchens, food pantries etc
• Rent subsidies, utility assistance,and homeless shelters

Additionally it's been established that the poor underreport their income. When all this is taken into account it shows that the lowest 20% of the US population is significantly better off than the lowest 20% of people in those other 35 countries:

While this doesn't mean that we shouldn't work on improving the status of the poor in America it does conclusively show that the US, not the European countries so beloved of by leftists, is doing the best job at helping the poor.

Now it's possible that the different cost of living in the US could negate this conclusion but by looking at what the real lifestyle of the poor is in America we can see that's not true; they're not living in misery.

We've known for a long time that the poor in America aren't as bad off as the left says that they are.

• 80% of the poor have air conditioning; when the War on Poverty started only 12% of household had air conditioning
• Nearly 3/4s have a car or truck, 31% have more than one
• 64% have satellite or cable TV
• 50% have a computer

No one wants the poor to suffer but it's obvious that the hard working Americans who pay the bill for the poor aren't being too stingy. But that goes against the lefts desire to take more and more of your hard earned money so they're going to lie about it.  They know that the more of your money they take the more government workers who earn much more than you there can be and the more powerful big government leftists become.

We all want to help those who are truly in need but for people who aren't poor because of physical or mental issues do we really want to tax lower income Black families so those "poor" people can have satellite TV?

The fix was in; The FBI was uninterested in the fact that the Chinese had hacked Hillary's email server

The law says that someone who grossly mishandles classified data has committed a crime. Contrary to the lie told to we the people by Comey there is no need for the person to have intended to mishandle the data.

For example if someone were to take a classified document home, a very major no no, in order to work on it and then accidentally left the document on the subway they are guilty of a crime even though they had no intent to damage national security.

The need for this is obvious.  If people who carelessly lost highly classified data and thereby seriously damaged national security could get by with it with no punishment then the odds of people being lax in their following of security protocols would increase dramatically.

It's a fact verified by the FBI that Hillary Clinton illegally used a private email server for classified emails.  That's illegal both because it violates the laws concerning the preservation of all documents generated by the government--necessary to ensure transparency--and because it's never permissible to place classified information on unclassified and unprotected computers.

Yet Hillary walked because Comey lied about what the law said and declared that since Hillary didn't intend to help our enemies and undermine our security what she did was ok.

The corruption at the FBI that allowed that turns out to be more extensive than we originally thought.

New evidence indicates that Peter Strzok, the Trump hating FBI agent who was a key player in the Russian collusion hoax and the Clinton email investigation, showed no interest when told that the Chinese government had hacked Hillary's email server and copied all her emails, including the classified ones, to another server.

Clearly if Strozk was interested in doing his job rather than protecting Hillary the fact that her actions had resulted in the Chinese accessing highly classified information would be very interesting because it made it clear that she had in fact been grossly negligent in her handling of classified data.

In a similar manner members of the Intelligence Community Inspector Generals office described desperate attempts by people in the State Department to avoid properly classifying the material found on Hillary's illegal server.  They revealed that information deemed significant by both the CIA and the National Geospatial Intelligence agency were found in those emails.

We all know if anyone in the Trump administration, or the Bush administration, had done something similar the #FakeNews media would be screaming non-stop.  For example when a conservative was accused of revealing that Valarie Plame was a CIA agent the media went ballistic though they grew silent when it was finally revealed that the source that outed the effectively retired from foreign service Plame was a left wing government employee.

Clearly the #FakeNews media is colluding with the Democrats to hid Hillary's crimes. What's hard to understand is why it's taking the Trump administration so long to bring out the truth.

Of course one factor is that due to the insane civil service laws it's nigh on to impossible for Trump to fire government employee's no matter how dishonest they are.

#FakeNews media spin Trump's fight against Chinese economic imperialism

We hear a lot about Trump starting a "trade war" but we aren't told that before Trump the Chinese charged four times the tariffs on American goods entering China than the tariffs the US placed on Chinese goods entering America.

That disparity resulted in America losing thousands of good middle class jobs.  Of course the people in the #FakeNews media and the leftist elites jobs can't be exported so they didn't care.

But Trump cared about Americans, not the new world order, and so he didn't start a trade war, China had already done that, he simply started fighting back.

In response the #FakeNews media started pushing the same line as China; that Trump's defense of American workers would hurt America.

We hear over and over how Trump is destroying the US economy even as every indicator shows the opposite.  Every time the market hiccups because of some new news story we're told it's proof that we should continue to deprive middle class Americans of good jobs so that the rich folk who have huge stock portfolios can make more money.

But when Trump wins a battle, as he did today when China is being forced to come back to the table, the #FakeNews media doesn't commend him.  Another Trump win is Vietnam stopping Chinese companies slapping a "made in Vietnam" sticker on goods that are actually made in China.

The #FakeNews media don't want you to know that Asian countries are really mad at China for China's imperialism, claiming the entire South China sea for itself, and for the economic and military pressure they're applying to countries like China, the Philippines, and Vietnam.  Those countries are eager to help the US get China to play nice.

The reality is that the rich elites and the dependents--people who count on your tax dollars to survive but who could actually work if forced to-- don't care if you don't have a job.  They only care about power and the ability to force hard working Americans to pay for what they want done.

China is going to lose the trade war they started if American stands firm and supports Trump.  Clearly the #FakeNews media are more interested in helping the Democrats than they are in helping Americans.

More proof of climate change chicanery; Michael Mann loses court case

Scientist Tim Ball said that Michael Mann, principle author of the discredited hockey stick temperature diagram that purportedly showed man was causing huge temperature increases, belonged in prison not at a university.

Michael Mann sued Ball for libel back in 2011.  The case has finally come to a conclusion with the court dismissing the case with prejudice and making Mann pay Ball's legal expenses.

That is the result of the fact that Mann refused, even after the court ordered him to, to produce the data that was used to create the hockey stick.  Ball quite correctly pointed out that if the data does not in fact support Mann's claim then Mann must have known that which in turn would show that Ball was right in claiming that Mann intentionally tried to fool people.

Given that Mann would have every reason to produce the data if he were in fact innocent his refusal to do so is pretty much tantamount to an admission of guilt.

I've heard claims in the past that if one puts random numbers, white noise, into Mann's algorithm that one can get a hockey stick out of it.  That would show that there are significant problems with his analysis.

What you need to keep in mind is that, as AOC's chief of staff has admitted, the whole Green New Deal movement isn't about the environment but about returning us to a serf and overlord world where we the people are ruled, not represented, by our "betters" and where political power is the only way to become wealthy.

The elites who lead the climate scare movement know that there is no man made threat to the climate.  We can know this because they all support the Paris Accords which allow China and India to massively increase CO2 emissions.  Clearly if we're facing an existential crisis in the next 10 or 12 years as the elites keep telling us there is no way that we can tolerate China and India vastly increasing their CO2 emissions.  Yet the elites tell us that the Paris accords are great proving that they know that they're lying to us.

What you don't hear is that the Paris Accords also contain massive wealth transfer from the US to all sorts of people and countries that the elites like; and of course the elites will get a "taste" of all that money.

The climate change scare is all about tricking you into surrendering your money and your freedom to the elites.

Latest fake environmental crisis; fires in the Amazon

It turns out that the NYT shows that the supposedly horrendous fires in the Amazon are actually burning agricultural ground that had already been cleared of trees. That's a common farming practice to burn the fields before the next crop.

You've probably heard leftists complaining about how the earth is dying because of these fires when in fact they're nothing dangerous or even unusual.

One more reason to not trust anything any "environmentalist" ever says unless you can confirm it from other, reliable, sources.

I wonder if leftist outcry will cause the NYT to change this article like they change the factually correct headline about Trump that leftists didn't like?
