Why are the Democrats so desperate to hid the "whistleblower's" name?

The Democrats are acting as though Antifa is a right wing group.  In the last few years all the harassment and use of violence to shut down free speech has been by leftists like Antifa attacking Republicans and conservatives.

White nationalist violence has generally been against Antifa not main stream Democrats.

But main stream Democrats have urged their followers to drive Republicans out of gas stations and restaurants and either said that Antifa's use of violence to shut down free speech was good or avoided talking about Antifa at all.

Hence there is absolutely no reason to think that the "whistleblower" would be at any physical or security risk if his identity was revealed. That's just a Big Lie that that Democrats are using to keep you from finding out just how dishonest the "whistleblower" and Adam Schiff are.

• We know that Adam Schiff's staff coordinated with the "whistleblower" to produce his "charges" which are nothing more than his repeating rumors.
• We know that Adam Schiff is lying about that collusion.
• We know that the "whistleblower" was a personal friend of Joe Biden
• We know that the "whistleblower" was booted from the White House for leaking distorted information in an attempt to hurt the President.
• We know that the "whistleblower" is a registered Democrat
• We know that the "whistleblower" is politically biased against Trump

But while you know all this because you don't just read the #FakeNews media a large chunk of America which trusts the leftists to be honest don't know all this and Adam Schiff is desperate to keep it that way.

Can you imagine how the same Democrats who are desperately protecting the "whistleblower" would react if the Republicans had opened impeachment hearings into Obama based on rumors repeated by an anonymous CIA agent who just happened to be a close personal friend of Mitt Romney?

The Democrats had counted on Trump not releasing the transcript and now they're desperately struggling to make sure that we the people don't find out just how dishonest and power mad they really are.
