Democrats want voters to be ignorant

The left is saying that 18 year olds can join the military but can't buy a gun. 

That same left is saying that 16 year olds should be able to vote.

Why?

Because 16 year olds are ideal Democrat voters. They have no financial responsibilities, they don't pay taxes, they tend to be indoctrinated in public schools, and they have no real world experience.

We know that the only reason the left wants 16 year olds to vote is because they believe that kids will support the left's agenda of socialism and government tyranny.

In a Newsweek op-ed Nancy Deutsch writes:

“The skeptical attitude toward the next generation is especially baffling when we see teens like Greta Thunberg, or the students from Parkland, Florida, consistently demonstrate independent thought, deep understanding, clear convictions, and tremendous maturity and poise in the national and international limelight (even amid jarring criticism and judgment from adults).”

The reality is that Greta Thunberg is a deeply troubled girl who is simply parroting what adults have told her. But since she's advancing the Big Climate Lie that the left is using to try and get more power over we the people the left thinks she's great.

Similarly it's unlikely that Deutsch is thinking of the Parkland students who don't support the left's radical plan to ignore the 2nd Amendment and disarm Americans.

Because 16 year old generally live sheltered lives, like most of the Democrat base, they won't vote based on what's good for America since they lack the knowledge and maturity to make intelligent decisions.

Which is what the Democrats want.  They are the party of the Big Lie; the party of censoring and silencing anyone who dares disagree with them.

Democrats know that they can't win arguments based on reality and logic so they spin lies 24/7 and then do everything possible to silence any voice that speaks truth to their power.

In the story of the king who had no clothes the Democrats are the ones who would have put their hand over the mouth of the kid who spoke the truth so that no one else could hear him.

It's time to stop exploiting kids to advance the Democrat agenda and it's time to let kids be kids until they're actually out there taking care of themselves.

Here's a radical thought; let's make it the law that no one can vote if they're listed as a dependent on another person's tax return.
