Clearly back in the Obama Administration the State Department knew that Hunter's job was a big land mine that they didn't want to have anything to do with.
In the secret impeachment hearings Yovanovitch said:
“The way this question was phrased in this model Q&A [from the Obama administration] was ‘What can you tell us about Hunter Biden being named to the board of Burisma?”
While she wasn't asked that question her instructions were to answer as follows:
That creates a lot of problems for Joe Biden. Biden said he had no knowledge of his son's high paying job in Ukraine. But if that's the case how would Biden's office have responded to the question? Why did the State Department think that Biden would be aware of his sons lucrative job and be able to answer questions about it?
Maybe because Joe Biden was very aware of how the family coffers were being beefed up at the rate of $83,000 a month.
Either the Bidens are obscenely rich, so rich that $3.1 million is pocket change, or what sort of family is it where the son doesn't mention to his dad that he's just landed a multimillion dollar gig?
Most sons want to tell their dad how they've succeeded an most fathers want to commend their son's success but according to Joe Biden Hunters big win in Ukraine was never mentioned. That paints a very odd picture of the Biden family. It makes the Bidens look like the mob where no one ever mentions where the money comes from to avoid risking witnesses to a criminal enterprise.
