Ocasio-Cortez believes energy is magic

Ocasio-Cortez--when is she going to stop honoring Cortez who she must believe is was a vicious exploiter of indigenous peoples?-- wants us to have no non-renewable energy by 2030.

That is insane.  Not in a hyperbolic way but in a quite literal way.

Wind doesn't blow all the time or in all locations.  The sun is down for very long periods each and every day; especially in winter when we need energy to heat our houses.

So even if we were to spend the Trillions of dollars it would take to replace all the coal, oil, and natural gas America uses today with solar farms and wind farms--which could possibly result in the extermination of many bird species--we'd also have to build energy storage systems undreamed of and far beyond our technological capability to provide power during the night.

Unless of course Ocasio-Cortez wants us fly over folk to simply hunker in frigid darkness much of the time.  Given that the Washington elite would find some way to protect themselves from such a fate it's clear that Ocasio-Cortez is not offering to suffer with us.

Further she wants to force all of us to buy new electric cars--cars which are far too expensive for most Americans.  After all eliminating all fossil fuels means no gasoline.

Her total lack of concern for the people is also evidenced by the fact that she doesn't care one whit about the fact that driving up energy costs--and even only semi-green California has energy costs which are 60% higher than the rest of the country--hurts the poor most of all.  The poor spend much more of their money on energy than the rich but Ocasio-Cortez doesn't care.

This is just one more example of how much Democrats hate you.  They want to feel good about themselves in terms of "climate change" so they're willing to make you suffer as much as it takes to ensure that they feel good about themselves.
