Proof the FBI lied about the Trump investigation

Remember when it came out that the FBI used paid informants, i.e. spies, against the Trump campaign?

Remember how the media and the FBI said that that was perfectly normal--try hard to suppress your laughter at that?

Remember how when sane people pointed out that if the FBI thought that the problem was just some peripheral players in the campaign they should have told Trump so that he could get rid of those "bad" actors?

Remember how we were told that wasn't the case?

Well know we know the FBI was lying.

Five years ago the FBI discovered that Diane Feinstein's California driver was a spy for the Chinese Communists.

What did the FBI do?  They notified Feinstein who then fired the spy.

So we know that when an FBI investigation into a spy in a politicians organization doesn't involve Trump the FBI does the sane thing and notifies the politician.

Hence when we were told that it was ok that Trump wasn't notified that was incorrect.

Now there is an option where the FBI isn't lying.  If the FBI didn't think that Carter Page or anyone else in the Trump campaign was actually a Russian agent then there would have been nothing to notify Trump about.

But if the FBI knew that none of Mueller's intermediary targets were Russian agents why did they tell the FISA court that at least one of them was?

Either way it's clear the FBI was lying one way or the other.
