Condemning the #FakeNews media is a good thing

A key purpose of the press is to provide the people with the truth so that the people can decide what policies they, the people, want the government to implement.

If the press lies to the people, either by commission or omission, the press is evil and should be condemned.

Trump and his supporters don't condemn the entire media only those sources which are nothing more than propagandists, read liars, for the Democrat party.

CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, WaPo, and NYT all are clearly biased in their coverage and all are working hard to deny the voters the truth.  Under Trump they tend to lie by commission while under Obama they lied by omission.

But lying is their bread and butter because the left wing causes they support are bad for America so they must suppress the truth and manufacture lies to convince the people that those causes help America.

To be silent in the face of such blatant evil is morally wrong.

Yet some "conservative" voices continually complain about Trump's "War on the media".

Trump's "war" consists of tweets and public comments. Trump has done nothing to restrict press freedom and his administration has been far more open than Obama's.

If words make a war then why haven't the media been decrying the war of words waged by the left on Fox News?  If Trump's declaring that CNN is #FakeNews is evil why isn't the entire left wing talking machine saying that Fox isn't real news evil?

To date there have been no physical attacks on people in the media from those on the right.  But there have been many physical attacks on conservatives from the left based on the wild lies told by the left wing media.

If Trump or conservatives were calling for violence against lying reporters that would be wrong but they haven't done that.

Essentially what the left, and the "conservatives" who love them, are saying is that we can't criticize a biased and bigoted lying press because that might put the liars at risk.

The obvious answer is that if the liars started telling the truth and became unbiased journalists then there would be no need to criticize them.

But the left wing lying media, not all the media once again, want to be able to lie to the American people without being criticized because they know that they're better than us and that we need to be lied to in order for the "greater good", i.e. what the left wing elites want, to be enacted.

Ignore anyone who says that it's bad for the country for Trump to point out that vast swaths of the media are no longer journalists but propagandists for left wing tyranny.

It's time to speak truth to power and demand that the left wing media stop lying to us.
