After all if California can afford to spend $62,000,000,000 on a high speed train that no one wants and no one will use why increase taxes on gasoline to pay for road repair; just cancel the train and use that money.
Further since poor people spend more of their income on gasoline than rich people California will be repairing roads on the backs of the poor.
But this is how the Democrat Attorney General named the proposition: "Eliminates certain road repair and transportation funding. Requires certain fuel taxes and vehicle fees to be approved by the electorate."
So instead of using the obvious title "Repeal of recent gas tax increase" the Democrat chose a title which makes it look like the voter won't benefit in any way from voting yes.
That's what we expect from Democrats; lying. After all what matters to them is power not serving the people so they have no qualms about misinforming the people if that will help ensure that Democrats get their way.
