Bloomberg lies about Gun Control: he wants you defenseless

Michael Bloomberg paid big bucks for a Super Bowl ad which was full of lies and misrepresentations.

The ad features the death of George Kemp; a 20 year old man whose death was precipitated by his challenging someone to a fight.

Oddly the ad says it's about children being killed by guns but the 2900 "children" shot each year by guns includes 18 and 19 year olds.  In fact given that hundreds of Blacks, mostly young people, are shot in Democrat run cities which essentially ban private gun ownership adds to the lie.

To pretend that gang bangers shooting each other with illegally purchased guns are innocent children whose lives could be saved with more gun control is the height of dishonesty.

Further of those 2900 deaths only 792 were homicides of people aged 0-17.  Given that gang members are often young odds are a lot of those were not crimes that gun control would impact in any way.

Given that only 10% of criminals who use a gun obtained that gun legally it's not surprising that Chicago's draconian gun control laws haven't even taken a bite out of the death toll in that benighted city.

Of course Democrats aren't bothered by the thousands of people shot in Chicago each year because they're Black.

If thousands of white people were shot in Democrat run Chicago every year there would be a SWAT team on every corner in the impacted neighborhoods.

Modern Democrats apparently don't care about Blacks anymore than their predecessors who fought a war to keep slavery legal.
