Things many Democrats say they oppose at the SOTU

There are always lots of lines in any State Of The Union speech that are designed to get everyone on their feet.

Things that every American should agree are good.

But in last nights SOTU speech many Democrats demonstrated that they don't in fact support things that every American should support.

When Trump talked about the low unemployment rates for minorities and the disabled some democrats didn't stand. How can anyone be unhappy about that?  Well if all you care about is power over the people not actually helping the people the fact that your political opponent is helping the people is bad.

Trump has managed to pass a new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, USMCA, which eliminates some of the inequities that plagued NAFTA and caused US workers to suffer.  But Democrats didn't stand when Trump announced that.

When Trump talked about historic lows in unemployment for women one would think that Democrats who say that they are women's biggest supporters, even though they support sex selection abortions where unborn girls are killed because the mother wants a son, would stand and cheer.  Yet they didn't.  Why?  Because Democrats want power; they don't care if they actually help we the people.

Trump called for a ban on abortions where the unborn child has a chance to live if simply delivered rather than being hacked to pieces, without anesthetic.  If abortions are supposed to occur to keep the mother from having to carry a child she doesn't want why not deliver the baby and give her a fighting chance? But Democrats remained seated.

When Trump introduced a real American hero, Tuskegee Airman Charles McGee, Ilhan Omar, Rahsida Tlaib, and Mark Pocan, all Democrats, refused to stand.  In a sense that's not surprising given that when General McGee was risking his life to protect America Democrats were forcing Blacks to ride in the back of the bus.  Clearly Democrats have a problem with successful Blacks.
