According to the SPLC Mao and Stalin weren't haters

Ever wonder why the Southern Poverty Law Center(SPLC) categorizes an organization that defends the millennia old definition of marriage as a hate group but declares that a group that used violence and physical assaults to shut down speech they don't like isn't a hate group?

Did you even know that was the case?  Of course not because the #FakeNews media hides that.

But if you go to the SPLC web site you'll find that they explain that since Antifa--the group that physically assaults people to shut down speech they don't like--hates based on ideology that's not really hate.

Here's how the SPLC defines hate:

"The organizations on our hate group list vilify others because of their race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity"

Here's the SPLC explaining why Antifa isn't a hate group:

The SPLC condemns violence in all its forms, including the violent acts of far-left street movements like antifa (short for anti-fascist). But the propensity for violence, though present in many hate groups, is not among the criteria for listing. Also, antifa groups do not promote hatred based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity

So according to the SPLC Antifa isn't a hate group because even though it's violent its violence isn't based on the limited criteria that SPLC uses.

This reasoning is interesting because it says that Mao and Stalin, who between them killed around 100 million people, aren't haters because they killed those people for ideological reasons.

The reality is that the SPLC condones and supports violence, racism, and hatred so long as they're directed at the SPLC's ideological opponents.

That group that defends marriage was almost the site of a mass murder.  A man planned to kill as many of the people at Family Research Council as he could and stuff Chick-fil-A sandwiches in their mouths. He did so because the SPLC labeled that group as a hate group because the SPLC didn't like the fact that the group pointed out negative things about gays; like the fact that while most gays don't molest children gays are much more likely to molest kids than straight people--if you doubt that note that 39% of children who are molested are boys but women make up only 9% of molesters so that the 3.9% of the population that is gay/bisexual are roughly 9 times more likely to molest kids than straight men.

The SPLC has expressed no regrets over it's ideologically motivated mislabeling of the Family Research Council and their web site continues to defend their actions.

That's why you should never ever trust the SPLC. They say that violent thugs who are a rebirth of the Nazi Brown Shirts who terrorized people who didn't support Hitler are not a hate group but a group that peacefully points out that the gay lifestyle isn't good is a hate group.
