Take Illinois for example. Ignoring the fact that for years thousands of Blacks have been shot each year in Chicago with the Democrats running the city doing nothing to end the slaughter Democrats have wrecked the entire state by promising government employee's unsustainable pensions to buy their votes.
Right now 25% of the operating budget goes towards pensions and there is an unfunded $133 Billion shortfall in the public worker pensions. Even better the Illinois Constitution says that the pensions of existing workers can't be cut.
Given that the Democrats have driven Illinois into the ground financially--the state has around $7 Billion in unpaid bills-- either they're going to have to steal all the people's money to pay pensions or the government workers who diligently supported the Democrat party are going to be deprived of the bribes, er pensions, that they were promised.
