Why it’s obvious that Thanos is a leftist

WARNING; SPOILERS

In the latest Marvel Studio movie, Avengers Infinity War, the bad guy is called Thanos.

He's trying to get infinite power so that he can kill 1/2 of the population of the universe because the universe is supposedly over populated.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because instead of using his infinite power to make more living space for all those intelligent beings he wants to use the power to eliminate them.  Just like leftists want to solve the problems of the Third World by killing brown babies with abortion rather than helping the Third World’s economies grow.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he believes that he has the authority to decide for all the rest of us whether we should live or die.  Just as leftists support the idea that judges can overrule the people by redefining the “living” Constitution and making abortion legal.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he claims that killing half of us is for our own good. Just like leftists support a mother’s right to kill her unborn daughter because the mother thinks that the daughter’s life won't be good enough.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he is completely unconcerned about the consequences of his actions.  Few societies could survive having half of their citizens disappear.  Hence after Thanos kills all those people most of the universe will crash into a new age of misery. But Thanos doesn’t care, just like leftists don't care that raising the minimum wage will result in fewer jobs for low skill workers.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he doesn't care who he kills.  He doesn't execute the criminals or try and save the good people he simply kills at random.  Just like leftists who are always more concerned with the criminals getting a fair shake than about the victims. Thanos and leftist both refuse to believe that some people are worse in their behaviors than others.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he's in love with some idealized vision of a universe with fewer people but he pays no attention to the consequences of realizing that vision.  Just as leftists extoll the "virtues" of ideal socialism while ignoring the actual worldly results of socialism.

We can tell that Thanos is a leftist because he ignores real science. There is no way that the universe is overpopulated when Earth alone isn't and we haven't even started to colonize Mars.  If the universe were overpopulated the folks on Marvel's Earth would be seeing new alien races every few days but they don't.  Thanos is just like leftists who ignore the science that proves that life begins at conception, that our sex is defined by our DNA, and that the Earth isn't warming the way the models say it should be.

Who'd a thunk that Marvel would make the ultimate villain in their biggest movie project to date a leftist?
