Trump will nominate a judge who believes the role of the Court is to interpret the law in light of the intent of those who passed it. That means that the Court will not make laws and will not subvert the Democratic process.
Leftists want a judge who will impose their ideological beliefs on the people which is tyranny.
It's not a fight between conservatives and leftists but a fight between those who believe that power belongs to the people and those who believe that power belongs to the elites.
