Why the #FakeNews media is an enemy of the people.

For a Democracy to work the voters must have the facts so that they can intelligently decide which policies, and hence which candidates, they should support.

Therefore any news organization which spreads lies or spins the truth makes it hard for the people to vote intelligently and can in fact fool the people into voting against their own interests.

That's why fascist regimes all control the news.  For example the residents of North Korea are so poor that they often eat tree bark and dirt because there is no food.  Yet for decades they thought that they were much better off than the poor sods who lived in South Korea and so they continued to support their Communist rulers.  They believed that because the government controlled media lied to them.

America may be the first country where large portions of the media have voluntarily decided to lie in order to provide support for one political party.

That the #FakeNews media is deliberately trying to distort we the people's understanding is undebatable.  In the last week Jussie Smollett put for insane claims and the #FakeNews media spread it with wild abandon.  Last week a man pulled a gun on two Trump supporters because they were Trump supporters and the #FakeNews media ignored the story.  The #FakeNews media sat on the fact that Bill Clinton had lied under oath for months until a lone rogue journalist, Matt Drudge, forced them to address it.

A free press is necessary but not sufficient to protect Democracy; we also need an honest press. They can editorialize all they want but the current problem is that the #FakeNews media has turned all reporting into editorials while claiming to be objective.

Purging the #FakeNews media and replacing it with media sources that report the facts and just the facts would dramatically improve the prospects of Democracy in America which is, of course, why the #Fake News media and the Democrats are fighting so hard to maintain the status quo and act as though pointing out the problems with significant parts of the "free press" being nothing more than Democrat party propagandists.

Without untold billions in free propaganda from the #FakeNews media the Democrats wouldn't be able to get anyone elected to dog catcher much less President.

Why Democrats deny a decent education to inner city Blacks

As Ilhan Omar would say it's all about the Benjamins.

Teachers unions funnel huge amounts of money into supporting Democrat political campaigns.  Teachers unions have just started a #REDforED campaign which is designed to turn red states blue.

And teacher's unions oppose school choice that would help Black kids because that would mean that teachers would actually have to do a good job to keep getting paid.

In America today it's nearly impossible to fire a public school teacher and no matter how poorly they do their jobs they still get great pay.  For example the average teacher salary in Chicago is $60 thousand while the average salary in Chicago is $62 thousand a year.  But when we correct for the fact that teachers only work for 9 months out of the year that mean that teachers make around 1/3 more than average Chicago workers.

But if Black parents could pick where to send their kids they'd pick schools that succeed in educating them; i.e. they wouldn't pick the current publics schools.  We know this because there are huge waiting lists for charter schools--which Democrats are trying to shut down--and for private schools; some Black parents make huge sacrifices to send their kids to Catholic schools where they know they'll get a good education.

But if students aren't forced to attend the failing public schools then teachers won't be able to have job security for life and be paid so much no matter how bad they are.

To be fair there are good honest teachers but they're handicapped by the union leaders and the school administrators who refuse to maintain order and who also refuse to fire failing teachers.

It's not just the natural racism of Democrats, though their belief that Blacks can't really be educated or be disciplined enough to succeed in school does play a part, that keeps a decent education out of the reach of inner city Black students it's also the Democrats need for the massive financial support they get from the teachers unions.

Why do Democrats want to encourage illegals?

The purpose of a political party is to improve life in the US for US citizens.

Democrats support for unlimited numbers of low education, low skill illegals that chew up billions in welfare funds that could help Americans show that what matters to Democrats isn't what's good for America but what's good for the Democrat party.

We know that illegals illegally vote and we know that they provide free labor to help get out the vote for Democrats. That's why Democrats want open borders; not because it will benefit we the people but because it benefits Democrats.

Why we can be fairly sure McCabe isn't lying

Disgraced former FBI leader McCabe has openly admitted to plotting a coup to overthrow the government of the United States.

When it was pointed out to him that that was a bad thing he said he'd only had some preliminary discussions about it so it was ok.

The seriousness of McCabe's admission has the #FakeNews media, the NeverTrumpers, and the Democrats panicking.

Among the lines of attack they're using to keep people from being bothered by the treasonous acts of DOJ/FBI leaders is that since we know that McCabe has a history of lying we shouldn't trust what he's saying now.

While that's usually a compelling argument it fails in this case for the simple reason that we know that McCabe hates Trump and hence wouldn't tell a lie that helps Trump.

Clearly if it is in fact true that unelected DOJ/FBI leaders even discussed a coup that would strongly bolster Trump's claims, energize Trump's supporters, and put the Deep State on the defensive.  Therefore McCabe would have very strong reasons to not lie about an attempted coup since it would hurt himself and his friends and empower his sworn enemy; Trump.

Even worse if we believe McCabe it means that the man who appointed Mueller and who authorized Mueller's limitless witch hunt hates Trump so much that he was willing to participate in a coup to overturn the results of the 2016 election.  Clearly that would greatly bolster the case of those who are contending that Mueller is a biased hack who is using the full power of government to discredit Trump even though Trump hasn't colluded with Russia.

A more rational analysis of the situation is that like most Deep State bubble people and the denizens of the #FakeNews media McCabe thinks that everyone in America views Trump with the same hatred he does.  Clearly if Trump is the "literal" Hitler that the Left and the vast majority of swamp dwelling bureaucrats think he is plotting a coup against him isn't just ok it's heroic.

The most credible scenario is that McCabe thought he'd be greeted with praise and adulation for his heroic stand against the ultimate evil.  He was basically correct; the 60 Minutes interview and the rest of the #FakeNews coverage was mostly supportive.  Only after it was pointed out that the 25th Amendment has nothing to do with replacing a physically fit President did McCabe and some leftists back off; though there are still leftists who say that Trump is clinically insane based on the fact that he doesn't embrace either the style or the substance of the modern leftist agenda which is to turn the people into serfs who belong to the government.

The bottom line is that while it's generally stupid to trust a liar like McCabe even liars rarely tell lies that hurt seriously hurt their own cause.

Democrat; the party of dependence

America was revolutionary because for the first time a country declared that the government belonged to the people not that the people belonged to the government.

By unleashing the nearly unlimited potential of people who wanted to take responsibility for their own fate America grew into the preeminent country in the entire world; the place where people wanted to go because there they could be free and prosperous.

Tyranny can't take hold in a country where people take responsibility for their own lives.  That's why for decades, since the failed New Deal, Democrats have been working hard to make Americans dependent on government because someone who counts on government for their well being can be fooled into trading away their freedom for a false sense of security.

The most obvious example of the Democrats long running plot to undermine America is the welfare state.  While Democrats claim that it shows their compassion for Blacks the reality is that the economic and social quality of life for Blacks in America have drastically declined since it was implemented.  Further by making a large fraction of Black Americans dependent on the government for their food and shelter it ensures that Blacks are disinclined to take action against Democrat policies that hurt them; such as not policing Black neighborhoods and refusing to provide decent schools for inner city Blacks.

The latest wave of Democrat policies are all about making Americans dependent and taking away our freedoms.

Socialism is nothing less than a return to the idea that the government owns the people.  In return for "free" stuff Democrats want we the people to give up our freedoms and allow government, i.e. Democrats, to run every aspect of our lives down to what sort of straws we use and how much soda we drink.

The Green New Deal is all about forcing we the people to turn over the majority of what we earn to the government for politicians to spend.  If you doubt that note that in Europe tax rates are above 50% for the middle class which means that they get to spend less than half of what they work so hard to earn.

Democrats have told Blacks for decades that they, Blacks, can't succeed without the help of Democrats--an amazingly racist message by the way--and they've now extended that to Hispanics, gays, transgendered etc.  The message is always the same; other white people--not we rich white Democrats--hate you and will oppress you so you must do what we tell you so that we can protect you.

The real threat of course is coming from those white Democrats who want to control everyone's lives.  Even as Democrats are pretending to care about Blacks--while ignoring the mass shootings of Blacks in Democrat run cities like Chicago--they're working hard to bring in more illegals who steal the jobs of Black Americans and drive down wages for Blacks because they know that Blacks are afraid to object to anything the people who provide their welfare checks want to do and because the illegals will help Democrats gain power.

For most of America's history both parties have agreed on the idea that power flows from the people and that politicians and bureaucrats are supposed to serve the people.  While the mainstream Democrat party gave up on that in the late 1960s they're finally coming out and admitting to it today.

People like Ilhan Omar, Bernie Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez are saying that we should fundamentally remake America so that we the people become modern serfs beholden to our betters who run the government.

That's why every election has become a Flight 93 election; it's no longer between two parties which share the view of the Founders about the intrinsic rights of men but between a neo-fascist party which is trying to use taxpayer money to buy enough votes to impose its tyranny on America and a party which still believe that the best society is one where individuals run their own lives.

America is literally one election away from abandoning the Constitution and becoming a nation of serfs.

#FakeNews media condemns truth in advertising

The #FakeNews media have already begun shaping the battlefield for the 2020 elections.  They're doing so by laying the ground work to support their claim that publicly stating what Democrats say they believe in is unfair and bigoted.  They're also declaring that raising questions about things that female Democrat candidates have done is sexist.

Essentially the #FakeNews media is declaring that any fact based criticism of any Democrat candidate is intrinsically hateful and biased.

It's clear why they're doing this. Bill Maher, whose as left as they get, has said that every Democrat Presidential candidate is going to have a history of racism, criminal activity, or lying to exploit minorities.  But if every Democrat candidate is carrying that sort of historical baggage as well as supporting infanticide and socialism the only way any of them will win is if discussing that they truly believe in is declared off limits.

The New York Times is declaring that Republicans pointing out what Democrats say they believe in is "demonizing" Democrats.  The examples used by the NYT to show that Republicans are "demonizing" Democrats are:

• Republicans pointing out that some of the most visible faces of the Democrat party are calling themselves socialists; people like Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders
• Republicans pointing out that like Obama many Democrats, including Virginia Governor Northam, support the killing of born babies.
• Republicans pointing out that famous Democrats, like Ilhan Omar, are virulently anti-semitic.

The problem for the NYT is that all of those statements are true and you can't demonize someone if you're telling the truth about them.  No Republican is saying that all Democrats hold those positions but it is true that those positions do appear to be the ones supported by the party in general.  Just look at how Democrats are falling over themselves to embrace the socialist Green New Deal or how they celebrated when New York made it legal to kill fully viable babies while the mother is in labor--and how they decriminalized murdering an unborn baby against the wishes .

It's true that Pelosi did castigate Omar for her overt and blatant Jew hatred but Omar still has her plumb assignment on the Foreign Affairs committee; essentially the Democrats are giving Omar a pass.

Interestingly the NYT has not written about how Democrats calling all Republicans "racist, homophobic, white nationalists, who hate women" is demonization.  Probably because the folks at the NYT think that's a factual statement.

The Washington Post is leading the charge to declare that any criticism of any female Democrat presidential candidate is sexist.  The examples the WaPo invokes are:

• Discussing the fact that Wille Brown has said he rewarded his mistress, Kamala Harris, with cushy government jobs and that he started her political career as another reward is sexist as though the issue is her sex not her acceptance of illegal state payments for her relationship with Brown.
• Discussing the fact that Senator Kirsten Gilibrand doesn't know how to eat fried chicken even though there is a long history of male candidates being condemned for being out of touch with the common man; remember how the media attacked Bush because he was supposedly amazed by a supermarket scanner--it turned out to be a lie by the way?
• Discussing the fact that Senator Elizabeth Warren lied about being a Native American in order to get great jobs culminating with Harvard touting her as an example of their diversity while paying her over $300 thousand a year to teach one class.  Does anyone think if a man had done the same no one would be raising it as an issue?

Interestingly I don't recall the WaPo complaining about the vicious attacks on Sarah Palin most of which were based on pure lies--she never said she could see Russia from her back yard for example.  It's not surprising though.  The WaPo knows that all of the above issues have nothing to do with the candidates being women and everything to do with pointing out huge problems with those candidates.

Basically the #FakeNews media is declaring that speaking the truth to power, so long as that power is left wing, is intrinsically evil and should be condemned.  Of course all they're really doing is trying to make sure that we the people don't get the truth about Democrat candidates.

It's important to remember that "Democracy dies in darkness" is not a WaPo slogan but rather a mission statement. The #FakeNews media is working hard to ensure that we the people are kept in the dark so that a Democrat who wants to destroy democracy is elected.

If you doubt that Democrats want to destroy democracy note these things:

• Democrats used illegals to harvest ballots in California and magically win multiple House seats
• Democrats are working hard to make it easy for illegals to vote and not get caught
• Democrats want illegals to count as US citizens in the census so that the votes of voters in states with lots of illegals will count more than the votes of Americans who live in states with few illegals
• Democrats fight tooth and nail against any effort to ensure that only eligible voters can vote
• Democrats tried to get the Electoral College delegates to go rogue to nullify the 2016 election
• Democrats have pushed the fake collusion narrative in an attempt to nullify the 2016 election
• Democrat's Deep State friends tried to stage a coup to overthrow the 2016 elections
• Democrats in places like Chicago have been corrupting the election process for decades

The #FakeNews media share the Democrats desire for an all powerful government that imposes the Democrats policies on all of us so they're eager to lie because they know that if we the people know the truth about Democrat candidates we won't vote for them.

Legalizing Pot has increased criminal activity

Even though we know that significant use of pot leads to health issues California Democrats, led by now Governor Newsom, made sure that it's legal to use pot recreationally.

Surprise surprise all the criminals who had been involved in the growing, sales, and distribution of weed didn't just decide to give up.

In Newsom's words

“There are legitimate concerns in Northern California particularly as it relates to illegal cannabis grows. They are getting worse, not better,”

Given that 80% of the California pot market is illegal and that's $3.7 billion it's not surprising that crooks aren't simply closing up shop.

Part of the problem, amazingly admitted to by the California Democrats, is that taxes are so high, if you'll excuse the pun, on legal weed that illegal dealers can make a lot of money while still selling their product for significantly less than what legal weed costs.

Interestingly while Governor Newsom doesn't want to protect California from illegals, and why would he since Democrats have pretty much ensured that a significant fraction of illegals vote Democrat and the one's who don't provide free labor to harvest ballots to the Democrats, he does want to protect California tax revenues by using the California National Guard to take down illegal weed growers.

Once again Democrats demonstrate that the only two things they care about is power over the rest of us and money.
