Obama; the buck never came near me but I should get all the credit

Obama spent all eight years he was president telling us how any problem that was on-going with the economy was due to Bush.  He refused to accept responsibility for the amazingly slow economic recovery he presided over--even after spending nearly $1,000,000,000,000 of money the government didn't have to "fix" the problem-- but now he's claiming credit for everything that Trump has done.

The idea that the current economic boom is due to Obama is obviously dishonest for a number of reasons.

First Obama mocked the idea that Trump could get manufacturing jobs back to the US but a significant part of the economic boom is due to Trump doing precisely that.

Second the left said that 4% GDP growth was impossible; the new economic realities meant that 2% growth is the best we could hope for.  Yet now Trump economy is showing 4%+ growth.

Third the economy took off first when Trump was elected, because businesses knew that the White House was no longer their enemy, and then when the tax rate cuts were passed.  There is no slow gentle increase in GDP that is a continuation of a trend from when Obama was destroying the economy.

In the end all the left has is lies.  Only in the #FakeNews echo chamber can anyone really believe that an economy that took off right after Obama left office is something that Obama can take credit for.

The motto of Cal Tech is "The truth shall set you free.".  That's why we must work hard to educate everyone we know about the truth because only about 20% or less of Americans will vote for the failed Democrat schemes if they know the truth.
