Liberal logic: Enabling drug users is good!
Liberals object to making welfare recipients take drug tests. Liberals claim that it's fine for addicts to have money for drugs and still force hard working Americans to ensure that addicts get good food.
Apparently forcing addicts to choose between drugs and food is anathema to liberals.

I'm not liberal, but I'm against drug testing welfare recipients.
Why? Because it doesn't work. It's been tried in various states (which is how a Federal republic is SUPPOSED to work) and the net result is that the testing itself cost more than was saved by taking drug users off the dole.
I'm against government waste, even when it means letting a few scofflaws live on the dole. I don't hate welfare leeches so much that I'll spend MORE money just to spite them.
